We went here after dinner for a few drinks. The service was good. I had a tropical margarita and a strawberry daiquiri, my husband had a beer and a Captain banana pants. The daiquiri and banana drink were great. I drank the tropical margarita but would not order it again just because it was not quite to my taste. We went to the outside bar and I loved the vibe. It’s two levels and they have cornhole. I would go back the next time we are in Virginia Beach, especially on a weekend when I’m sure it would have been busier.

Chill vibes on a Sunday afternoon. The bartender was friendly and provided quick service. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outside at the time we arrived. The restaurant was extremely clean. Overall, I felt very satisfied with the service provided. I highly suggest you give this restaurant a chance.

Beautiful location, nice Hostess and Waitress. Food is HORRIBLE! You can definitely tell that it’s either sat for hours or came straight from a can. I ordered the shrimp lettuce wraps sub tortillas for lettuce and they actually were pretty good however my rice was hard as heck, black beans clearly came from a can, and the “citrus slaw” was regular cabbage. The crab dip didn’t stand a chance the chips were chewy (kept getting stuck in my teeth)…I actually told them I didn’t like it multiple times and they refused to take it back and off of my tab, same with the rice after the lady who seemed to be the manager stated that she would go and check on why it came out like that…she never returned with an explanation. However walked past me several times and appeared frustrated because of my dislike of the food. She was most likely the manager who stated she wasnt taking that nasty crab dip off too. If you decide to try this place despite the low reviews be prepared to pay a 20% gratuity for mediocre service. Oh the drink…Tropical Margarita, smh I left that there too, not good either. So if you’re looking for a place where you can take good social media pix this may be for you just eat before you come or plan to eat elsewhere.

We went out during the night for some drinks. The drinks are pretty good, but the atmosphere makes it! Really fun place and not what you would expect on the inside from looking at the outside. It was very spacious and all around good vibes. We will be back next vacation!!

Got there with a party of 7. We were sat outside, the man asked us if it was OK and we agreed but honestly would have preferred a seat inside, it was super humid. We were being harassed by flies the entire time. The waitress was nice. Provided everything we asked for. Was attentive. Appetizers were out pretty quickly and they were good, small portions considering the price. But then the waitress asked for a credit card to open authorize the tab since it was a large order so I offered mine. It was an odd request but the place we were originally going to go to had a sign that said they did the same thing for parties seated outside so I guess it’s just a local thing. (One of my guests thought we were being racially profiled but I’m relatively certain that was not the case) Had to move some money around but I figured $350 would be more than enough. Then I get 2 notifications that my card has been declined for a purchase of $450 dollars. Now this was shocking to me. We had ordered a few items but surely we haven’t spent that much right? A few drinks, apps and 4 of us got meals that cost $36 but surely that was still not the correct pricing. When the food finally got there. It was OK. Nothing to write home about. Most of us had gotten their seafood boil option and it was OK. Not the best I’ve had. My friend had a salad and a mac and cheese. She did not enjoy the mac and cheese. She said the shrimp in her salad were pretty overcooked as well. Nobody who had the platter was that impressed. The potatoes and corn were undercooked for our tastes and very underseasoned. The remaining items were fine. Just underseasoned really. Everyone was happy with their drinks but they cost so much you can’t have more than one. Was also double charged for a coke, so either refills are not free, or someone made a mistake. Moral of the story is, food is ok but way overpriced. Ended up spending $459 for 7 people. Which is about $65 per person. For that price I expect to be knocked off of my feet. Also gratuity was included. 20% which is fine but I would have liked the option of the amount I would tip. And a 4% service charge for not paying cash. (It’s 2023. Who’s carrying around $500 in cash)?)

Omg would not recommend this place. They serve old food just microwaved. Really awful taste. Gratuity is automatically applied. The ambiance is musty and humid. Not good Mexican food and overpriced.
