I’ve been going to Lunch Box Cafe regularly for many years and I have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is high quality and the price is very competitive to other restaurants in the area. I wish I had taken a pic before I got into it, but it looks great and there is plenty of it. I have the spicy fingers almost anytime I order from there, onion rings and side salad. My SO gets the catfish which is also very good.

This small diner has the BEST potato soup I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s very easy to smash it in just two bites. Might just be me I’ve had their corn cakes, BBQ, chicken fingers, salad and it’s all very tasty.

Staff was very quiet and just kind of meh. That doesn’t really ever bother me, but the food was rough. Country ham tasted like hatred, and the potatoes were just…. not good. Eggs tasted like prison eggs. Biscuits and gravy and coffee were decent.

Always good food! I recommend the fried (or grilled) chicken salad with (home-made) honey mustard dressing. Good sized portions too. And you can call ahead and pickup from the drive-thru window.

I came back here, because I was in the area and loved my last outing here and was just thrilled with my lunch. I’m not a big fan of preseasoned chicken wings, at home or out in town. No worries, these are fried and seasoned in house. Later I had a club with potato salad, it all looked perfect, I’d be in more often if it was convenient to me. #263
