This restaurant breaks my scoring system. I need more stars! I expected good, but this was above and beyond. We sat at the Chef’s Counter and we were treated like family. At least 4 staff personally introduced themselves and carefully met our needs. The view at the counter is like sitting in the cockpit. We were so impressed with the team and the menu. The snap pea salad was fresh and creative. The flank steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. And the desserts (we had 3!) were each balanced nicely. If I lived in Milwaukee, this would be a regular venue for all our special events!

New fave restaurant in Milwaukee. Open for lunch, even on Monday, already sets this fine dining destination apart. Beautiful & large dining areas. Service was perfect – thank you Allison. Fabulous food! Pasta is offered in appetizer or entree portions so it’s nice to try more dishes. Breads & desserts were amazing, too. Wonderful meal & experience.

We had an incredible meal here. The Goat cheese tart was beautiful and tasted amazing. The pasta was excellent. The veal chop was cooked perfect and had the best crust. We got the Lime olive oil cake and caramel pot de chocolate and they tasted so good. Nice balance and execution on every dish. One of the best meals I’ve had in Milwaukee.

Had an excellent meal here the other night! High quality food and drinks, great service and elegant atmosphere. Dinner started with warm focaccia and a crisp salad. For the main course we had the New York strip paired with a Manhattan and swordfish with a glass of white. For dessert we had a very satisfying pine nut tart and washed it down with hot coffee.

Amazing experience! Service was fast and precise. All the food was delicious. The seasonal morel risotto was the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted! Don’t be afraid of goat cheese cheesecake. It’s delicious and tastes just like cheesecake should! And the berry jam on it? Oh my!

Was impressed with Lupi & Iris! The service was fantastic and the food was outstanding. Appropriately priced for an experience of this type. We sat in the high-top tables which are near the kitchen; very cool to see the chefs preparing dishes.

Lupi and Iris is a true gem in Milwaukee. From the moment you step inside, you’ll be struck by the restaurant’s personality, which perfectly reflects its focus on a combination of wood-fired grill and fine dining. Our recent visit for Valentine’s Day was a true delight. We were seated right next to the kitchen, which gave us a unique opportunity to watch the culinary magic unfold.
