Outstanding taste and value! For about $8 I got 2 empanadas, rice, beans, and small soda. I expected appetizer-size empanadas, but these were large, delicious, and filling. One of the friends I came with tried the lengua (tongue) tacos, and enjoyed them as well.

Where do I begin … in short, you will not be disappointed if you are looking for something that feels authentic! Loved their selection of sauces, the meat was spiced perfectly, and the masa / tortillas were delicious. We took the food back to the hotel and it was just a good as eating in the restaurant.

When I planned our trip to State College, I sought a local restaurant instead of a chain. I love Mexican food and this had good reviews so I gave it a chance. When we walked in, it wasn’t what I thought it would be. I thought it would be a place where you sit down and order instead of ordering at a counter (like fast food). The inside is colorful and authentic. We ordered the chicken flautas and chicken empanadas. When it was brought out, the empanadas were huge. Both were crunchy and very delicious. It kept us full for the rest of the day. I’ll be back if I visit State College again.

(SPRITE WAS THE BEST THING I GOT:D) I don’t know if it’s because the time I showed up, but the food was awful. Very greasy food. For a Mexican place there isn’t much seasoning on the food that we could taste. I love Mexican rice, with steak or chicken. Not much choices on food. I don’t know for 47.00 everyone I ate with (3 people) said the food they got was awful, cold, and greasy. We went to eat around 11ish pm. Felt like getting served food from earlier in the day to be honest. I even thought about asking for my $ back. That’s how bad it was. I only ate not even 1/4 of my food. Other 2 people ate almost 1/2 of there food. I also asked if we could sit down and order it , the guy behind the counter said “you can do that but just order here”. Very Very Very disappointed in wasting money on food. 1 thing I hate is wasting money on food that is suppose to be good for its price. Thank you.

I had the King Quesadilla and my wife had the Carnitas Tostadas. Both tasted excellent, food was prepared pretty quick, and the guy serving was polite and helpful.

If you are from South Asia, this restaurant is perfect for your tastebud. I loved their chicken taco and barbacoa lunch/dinner meal. I usually order their barbacoa which resemblance with Bangladeshi shredded beef. I usually eat with roti or khichuri. I wish they also sale the barbacoa separately. I am totally in love with it.
