The is small business w/a cozy atmosphere. There’s both table & booth seating. Complimentary chips, salsa, cabbage & bean dip. Service is friendly & prompt. I ordered the steak Drea’s Sweets Salad. Very fresh & made to order. I’ll definitely go back. Recommend.

If your looking for authentic Mexican food then This spot is really good Home style cooking is what I came for and is definitely what I got when I tasted every ingredient. Even the service was great it feels like your at a relatives home and the food is cooked with love! The food tastes fresh and home cooked , I’m honestly surprised I didn’t see more people eating there because the food is the bomb ! Ask for the spicy red salsa on the side if you love spicy ️ If your tired of eating at other Mexican restaurants in Modesto or scared to even try any at all , – come to this one ☝ it will not disappoint you. This became my new favorite spot for authentic Mexican food

Dropped by during travel. The place seems unassuming, but it’s really good. I had vegetarian enchiladas. They were unique and flavorful. Staff was super attentive and friendly.

Lupita’s has moved in where the old La Parilla used to be. Some fresh paint and wall decor were added, but it’s surprisingly almost the same in feel, which is a down to earth family restaurant, which I love.

This place is an absolute hidden gem… Very clean dining area and the staff is so friendly… The food, in my opinion, is more authentic than most of the places in or around Modesto…

Me and my niece and her kids went in on Sunday. We both ordered the steak Ranchero it was delicious the kids had their rice and beans it’s what they like. I have to say the rice and beans were excellent along with the flour tortillas. The service was great. Can’t wait to go back.

I give it 2 1/2 stars, I ordered chile Colorado and they were more on the expensive side, I don’t mind if the food is good but their chile Colorado tasted watery and had 0 spice and it was a lighter red instead of usual darker red. The portion was small for the price. Tortillas homemade was good and the horchata was good too more on the milky sweet side but good. My problem was with the portion of rice and beans and the sauce of chile Colorado.

This restaurant is so friendly and welcoming! Of course the food is delicious as well. Their chili rellenos are the best and tostadas and enchiladas are a close second. Lupita, the owner is often in the dining area welcoming and greeting everyone ….true hospitality!

Thought we’d try this due to the good reviews. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted. The space is aged and needs some decor to up the atmosphere. Seating consists of tables set up for 8 people and booths around the outer perimeter. We shared the Molcajete for two and got a side of guacamole. The food was very good, with enough spiciness to assure it was Mexican. The guacamole was made in house and good as well. We were served by two people who were very friendly and attentive and answered questions about the menu. I would have given four stars but it was our anniversary and we wanted to celebrate with a little more atmosphere. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back. However if I was in a more celebratory mood I would go to some place like La Morenita.
