Coming from out of town and not sure of what kind of restaurant we were going to eat at. Read the reviews and showed up and were more than surprised! The service was very good the food was very good the prices I would consider very reasonable. We had the David’s Burger. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And the homemade onion rings were fantastic

This restaurant is run by a 7 yrs in the business manager. She is trying to build up her business and I can tell you it’s very warm in atmosphere. And the food is delicious We had the bean and cheese nachos and my friend has menudo. Excellent. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Atmosphere is great. Food is plentiful, hot & worth charge per plate. Service has unfortunately gone down hill. It’s as if they see you for 1st 15-20m, then it’s like being on Deserted Island. Otherwise, it’s very good.

Really good food here. The service was great! I always seem to get the Brandon’s Special, but other items are just as tasty.

This cool old building just south of Broadway in Sweetwater is cooking up some rare find plates , ya know where the advertisement and menu photos match what actually lands in front of you?!

We chose Lupita’s based purely on the reviews and I felt the need to add one as well. On the 6 hour trip back home to Austin, we stopped here and ordered takeout for dinner and I truly could not be happier that we devided to stop.

We checked reviews for restaurants in Sweetwater and Lupita’s was number one. Very accurate! Our server was especially helpful and friendly. Our meals were delivered quickly and it was fabulous! If it was 350 miles closer we would eat there often. 5 star place!

The 3 stars im giving is for the friendly front service! The food is mediocre and that is at best! I gave it time before I wrote my review! First experience me and my children arrived before an appt at 1130ish didn’t get our food until 12:50 had to ask them to pack togo because we couldn’t even stay to eat! Second round just 4 of us returned and again the waitress did the best she could you could tell no team work whatsoever again wait time horrendous! The 3rd time same I wouldn’t mind the wait of the food if it was good quality but prefrozen flautas doesn’t quite fit the quote “worth the wait” might work for some with a palette of a 2-5 year old or someone who doesn’t know any better on authentic fresh Mexican food only thing fresh seemed to be the tamales being made at a table behind us just sad! 21 years exp in the restaurant business I’m really sad with the outcome we will give it 1 more try after the dust settles and see if it’s only due to recent opening but we shall see update soon!

Food was pretty good! Nothing great or special to write home about. Our service was super slow also and my sister in law found hair in her food. They acted like they were upset with her for bringing it to her attention! I wouldn’t eat there again.
