Nice, small, cozy place. They have a full bar and a vast selection of beer. I had a corona familiar and a fish and shrimp taco salad- their house sauce or whatever was in it was delicious. Our waitress was awesome and helpful.

Food was very good. Blended Margaritas were weak. Will try on the rocks next time. We were there at 6pm and it was pretty noisy. Tofu taco was a great choice for a vegetarian. Ordering a side of guacamole was a good idea. Service was fine.

I ordered the steak and shrimp and my wife the tamale. Both were pretty tasty. The shrimp were amazing. The beans and rice were not super hot when they came out. That’s really the only loss of a star. We ordered the churro cheesecake and key lime pie. They were both really good.

Quickly fell in love with this place as one of our favorites (at least in the Pahoa area). Food is great – tortilla chips cooked fresh, service has been wonderful, and prices are very reasonable!

If you love Mexican food this is the place to go! We really enjoyed the food. It was just like at the old Luquin’s that burned down a few years ago. My brother & his wife were visiting me and he said we’re coming back to this place! We both love Mexican food. ❤️

Solid Mexican restaurant! I had the carnitas burrito and my wife had the chicken fajitas. Serving sizes were great, the chicken was nice and soft, and the guacamole was fresh. Our server was great as well! Only complaint is the pork was a dry style, which isn’t what we were looking for with the burrito.

This place is great. The Chile Colorado is super tasty and is enough food for a small army at $16. You can get a flight of margaritas and you can’t decide which one you want to order, and the staff is attentive and keeps them coming! This is a great place to grab a drink at the bar, or meet up with a small group of friends. The chips and salsa area also great!

Great food and we’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants on the mainland and abroad!! We will never say something is the best as everyone has different taste. We will say it was great food and suggest it to anyone whom asks.

Great food and amazing service. Our waitress really went above and beyond to ensure we loved our food and had a great time. She encouraged us to try both red and green sauces together on our burritos (see photo). Not only was it fun to try, but both sauces were delicious!

*If you’re not completely starving, then maybe go somewhere else?*. Maybe it’s because I don’t really enjoy mexican food… or maybe I just haven’t ever gotten the best Mexican food ever… but this place was mid. But I went in starving with 3 friends. The place is priced decently (…other than stake and shrimp for 25.00) but I got the Stake Tostada which was pretty good. But if you’re like me and HATE the lettuce that they put on Mexican food, then ask for less or none. I also got virgin Strawberry Pina Colada WHICH WAS FIRE! Super good. All of that plus tip was 23.98$ which is not bad. Also my friend accidentally left her food behind and the server booked it out of the restaurant and chased after us before we left. So good services as well. Overall. Place was pretty nice, bathroom supposedly doesnt smell too good, but food is delicious and sweet people working there. 3.5/5 stars 🙂
