I’ve been here a number of times, included photos from two visits. My favorite spot for a burger in Birmingham, they’re known for them! The nachos are the only way to start, a perfect appetizer. And the mac & cheese compliment the burger as the side perfectly. I don’t remember the names of the two desserts I’ve gotten from here, but one of them is in a photo it’s like a chocolate cake à la mode and it’s amazing! I also had them improvise a mocktail for me last time, I didn’t love it, but I probably should’ve told them. I’m not the biggest pineapple guy however, it was very refreshing! I’ve never been super impressed by the service here, it’s a bit impersonal in all honesty based on multiple experiences. The atmosphere isn’t anything too over-the-top but it’s a good laid-back place to take your friends. I definitely recommend visiting this place and for sure trying the luxe burger!

Place was busy, drinks and food were excellent. The burger was perfect so were the fries (they don’t come with the burger which was weird) service wasn’t the best but yet they were busy. They also don’t split tabs so keep that in mind. Overall this place is HOT

I really enjoyed the grilled chicken club sandwich, though the fries were a little cold by the time they arrived to our table. Super packed, and loud – the servers seemed a little overwhelmed and had to move around speedy quick. I’ll likely get take-out next time?

Really good food and service! I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always been enjoyable. Food is always really enjoyable and portions and good sized. Restaurant is a little smaller but outdoor seating is the best in the summer time!!

Overall I really like Luxe. I’ve only been here twice and both times have ordered the same entree. (Grilled chicken club). The chicken is well seasoned (maybe a tad over salted today) and the sandwich overall tastes great and uses high quality ingredients. The Mac and cheese wasn’t great. Barely tasted any cheese in it. Side salad was fine. Ranch didn’t seem even restaurant homemade though, which I’d expect at the least with a place in Birmingham charging $16 for a sandwich and another $6 for a side salad? Whatever the case, it’s a minor complaint as the sandwich was very good and service was excellent both times.

It was my birthday dinner, I got the Burger and it was delicious. I tried their filet, it was just ok. It had almost no seasoning, and don’t often add salt to anything. Otherwise, the rest of the food was pretty good. It got busy as it was really loud in there, not much can be done about that, busy is a good thing.

Service was great, but food and drinks were subpar. I had high expectations based on recommendations from in the past, but the drinks were so strong, that you could not even drink them. We ordered, guac and chips, ribs, fries, and a Greek salad. Guac was super runny, chips were decent but very greasy, fries were cold and mostly soggy and the ribs were just ok. Would not go back!
