Big portions. Reasonable prices. Good, authentic Cantonese food. The printed menu is not the complete menu! Be sure to look at special items on the wall of the restaurant and on the whiteboard. I attended college around the area in the 80s and this was our go to Chinese food restaurant. 30 years later and with my son attending college at the same school, we find ourselves frequenting this restaurant again. Amazingly, the food remains the same. The flavor is consistent, price affordable, and quantity substantial. Although the looks outside and inside remain quite dated, the food is good. Don’t expect high-end service and ambiance.

Good find of a terrific local Chinese restaurant. Lack of up to date ambiance is balanced off by good and tasty dishes at a reasonable price. The sizes off the family style servings are more than ample, and we’ve been pleased with the freshness of the food.

We have been coming to Ly-Luck for many years. Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and expedient. Convenient location and it is not difficult to find parking. Reasonably priced and good portions. It is a neighborhood no-frill restaurant. Once we even saw the Oakland Mayor and her family dining here.
