Food was great. I had the curry goat with white rice. Tons of flavor and the curry goat fell off the bone. The service was also amazing. I felt very welcomed when I walked in. When I’m back in town I will be definitely eating at M&C again.

If you are in the area, this restaurant is a must. We stopped in to try it and it did not disappoint. They had a great variety of dishes, and we got a little of almost everything between the four of us. They had pigtail soup, and oxtails, both of which I was a bit nervous about trying, but they were so amazing I’m glad I did. The goat in the goat curry was super tender and flavorful without the gamey taste a lot of goat has sometimes, and the chicken in the chicken curry was juicy and mild. The jerk pork wasn’t super spicy like I anticipated and was perfect for someone like me who struggles with hot flavors. They had a sweet chili fried chicken that had a great flavor and was tender and juicy. The service was incredible and so friendly. It was well priced for the amount of food we received as well. We will definitely be returning!

I’m so happy we have authentic Jamaican cuisine in Ellenville!!! The food is absolutely delicious. I’ve eaten the oxtail, pepper steak, stewed pork, Mac n cheese, and many other items on the menu. They haven’t let me down yet. I’ve also ordered several party platters which offer plenty of food. I was also happy that they’re very accommodating with pick up time for my orders. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable!! Love it!!!!

Came to Kartrite resort and wanted to eat homemade food versus junk. Called this place although it was a 30 minute drive and was warmly greeted over the phone. Asked the young lady about the jerk chicken because I don’t like dry chicken. She assured us that it was not dry. I proceed and order one large jerk chicken two large oxtails and we also got a small curry goat. The rice was ok, the oxtails were tasty but very thinly sliced and mostly bones, the curry goat was tasty and also mostly bones and the jerk chicken was absolutely horrible and inedible. The chicken was beyond dry and extremely salty. No jerk sauce on it and just plain old bad. We took our money and time to travel here and while the rice was good and the other meats tasty this was not to my expectations and I would not return.

The Jerk Pork is by far my favorite dish of theirs, I try to get it once a week but I could eat it every day – boneless, tender & flavorful. Everything else I have tried is very tasty. Highly recommended to everyone in the Ellenville area & to anybody looking for good Jamaican food.

Driving through Ellenville and saw this place. I have been to Jamaica at least 30 times in the last 40 years, so we decided to take out food for dinner. We had oxtail and curried chicken. Both were excellent and a generous portion. Had dinner for two nights. I would do it again if I am in the area again. Food was just like it is in Ja.
