Excellent Mom and Pops diner. I enjoyed the open faced Denver on rye bread with a side of hash browns and a cup of coffee. Excellent and fast service. I was in and out in 25 minutes.

Food was good.. all the extra parts were average to lacking. Fresh hot eggs, toast good, chicken fried steak all good. American fries had good flavor but a couple of charred pieces. Extras that were lacking- coffee (bland), milk on tables instead of half and half, dining room drafty and cold.

Growing up in Sussex, I used to go here with my Dad all the time. Thankfully, things haven’t changed much since then. If you’re a fan of an old school family diner, then this is a place for you. Have a seat at the wrap around food counter and get your coffee and eggs as they make them right in front of you. I love the look, the food, the friendly workers and the great prices. . It’s just a wonderful small town atmosphere you can’t find everywhere. I stopped in the other day after not going for many years. They’re closing in a few days so I had to go before that happened. I’m glad I got to return after all these years and have another great meal.

I love this local family run cafe. The staff is fantastic as always, even after a long absence they remember me when I walked in and even recalled my preferred food and drink order. Do not be afraid to ask for a small adjustment, such as getting the spicy omelette stuffed styled. They accept card now but don’t be afraid to leave a nice cash tip <3

Possibly the best hidden gem in area. The best service..the best homemade cooking. The atmosphere is old school. Brings back happy childhood memories of up north diners.Thank you Theresa for making our first visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
