While shopping at Pellegrino’s 1167 Central Avenue location I fondly remembered their old store near Osborne. I’d always enter from Milton Street, walking through the stacked high storage area. Once inside, dodging the melting wax from the hung cheeses, Michael was always behind the counter, glad to help. Product is still hung from the ceiling. Now there is a brigade of counter staff making sure your questions are answered and orders filled. The store is well lighted, spacious and well stocked. It’s a different world but still reassuring.

I recently placed a large order for my son’s communion and was so happy with the food I ordered (mini sandwiches, baked ziti, chicken parm). When ordering, Debbie was very helpful and explained exactly what came with the food I ordered and how many people a portion typically serves. Everyone at the party was asking where the food came from, a couple families will be placing future orders! The portion of food was large and left a lot of leftovers. The mini sandwiches were the perfect lunch size sandwich. I will definitely order again in the future, thank you for great service and delicious food!
