Amazing food and service! Don’t walk, run to this restaurant. My friend and I ate family-style ordering two appetizers, three entrees, and donuts for dessert. Our meal was perfectly paced. I am a meat-eater and every dish was out-of-this-world delicious. The duck in particular was better than real duck in texture, moisture, and flavor! When the donuts arrived, our stomachs miraculously made room for these fresh pillowy delights. We look forward to enjoying the leftovers, too!

Good place to enjoy some vegetarian Thai food. We tried lo-min and veg chicken. It was good. Not a fan of fried wontons here, but spring rolls were good. The Thai sweet tea is good as well.

Very delicious vegan Chinese food! We will definitely be back to try more of the items on the menu. So many options to choose from.

I was hoping for a better experience, but the general tso combo didn’t meet my expectations. Overall the food had a strange after taste, but the spring roll was great.

Who would have thought vegan Chinese would be ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I’m not a big fan of the vegan proteins; for me they have been hit or miss. So I did play it safe and go with Veggie Lo Mein. But they asked if it was my first time and if I wanted a few chicken pieces added so I could try them. Yes! Of course! And they were very tasty .

Family owned, respectful & courteous. The two waitresses are sisters, who are very nice and offer up suggestions for those of you who are new to the restaurant. They do get busy with take our orders so keep that in mind & be patient, it’s worth the wait.

This is our third time- each time the food is amazing (even for you non-veg folks… our party all agreed each visit).

Our favorite take out place in South Charlotte. 100% vegetarian. Must try items include the pan-fried dumplings and the General TSO “chicken”! Noodles and fried rice are super tasty.

The eating experience at Ma Ma Wok leaves a lot to be desired. The low quality tone in this mostly take-out restaurant was set by an overwhelming smell of burnt (old?) soybean oil wafting from the kitchen. “Vegan” and “Vegetarian” doesn’t always mean healthy. I don’t trust vegan proteins that are factory made to mimic beef, chicken or fish. That leaves us with tofu. The tofu dish was tasty, but my cheeks started feeling flushed as I ate it, which to me always is a signal of MSG being added to the food. My meal started with an order of Hot & Sour soup. This soup is always an indicator for me of the kitchen’s skills. It was lackluster, uninteresting at best. I would stick with veggie dishes here. Save your “restaurant” experience for better atmosphere somewhere else.

My partner and I dined in here and won’t ever be back. We tried the vegan chicken drumsticks which were great, but everything else ordered had a distinctive ‘off’ flavor. The dishes we didn’t like were mushroom dishes, and the mushrooms were probably expired. We let the server and owner know, and the owner responded saying, “Well everyone likes this, and we have a lot of good reviews.” This was really uncomfortable considering we didn’t hesitate to pay for the meal in its entirety and tip as we normally would.
