MaBella Menu – Commack, NY

Type : Italian restaurant

Location : Commack, NY

My wife, Maria, and I have over 30 years experience each in the restaurant business — both starting in our pre-teen years. Maria grew up in the same town in Italy that my parents are from; Acri, Calabria. We met, and later fell in love, in the early 90s while working at her cousins’ landmark restaurant in Huntington Station. Several years later, we ventured into ownership — with other partners. After 15 successful years, we’ve decided to do it on our own. We’re a team; I run the kitchen and Maria runs the front of the house. We hope you come visit. Of course, we’ll welcome you with open arms and hope you’ve got a hearty appetite because feeding our friends, both old and new, is what we do best.

Buon Appetito!

Excellent family owned Italian restaurant with tons of great menu items and specials. Lively atmosphere and great location. The servers were all great even on a busy Friday night. All of the food was excellent and the portion sizes are large at good prices. Will return again!

Amazing food, great atmosphere, very friendly owners who completely go out of their way to make you feel at home. Maria was such a doll. The burrata salad was so amazing. Very fresh fish.

The service was good, put the pasta was abit too hard for what it had to be. And the item i ordered was Penne alla Volka. Had it been less costly i would give it more stars but since the plate costed 26 dollars i wouldn’t recommend it.

Really of the hidden Italian restaurants on Long Island. Exceptional food, exceptional service. I recommend any of their dishes, especially their fungi risotto. Also, good place to take your dates or family for Sunday lunch.

Parking is a little sketchy. Busy little place, smells amazing walking up. They seated us outside quickly, cute quiet outdoor set up. Calamari arrabiatta was very good, but the breading got a little soggy in the sauce, so next time I’ll order the sauce on the side. Lobster ravioli were delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken Parm, but I was a little disappointed with the tomato sauce, tasted kinda like raw canned sauce. Would definitely go back, glad we stumbled across this place.
