Very nice staff and accommodated a group of 8, food took a little longer to prepare but it was worth the wait. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was delicious, very pleasant service would recommend!

I worked there for a while I have my certification for food safety granted by the state of Ohio I took classes and a test in order to obtain my certification. I have worked in five star restaurants I’ve worked in restaurants that consistently push $2,000 an hour during rush. I’ve even worked at the roosters here in town as a certified trainer. I can show you my certifications and prove that I know what I’m talking about. This is the nastiest and worst restaurant I’ve ever worked for.. a picture is worth a thousand words.. hopefully you can tell by the pictures the staff cares more about your money than your health. Same with the employees the owner cares more about her pocket then anything else. They’ll drop your food on the floor and serve it. They cook food at home and bring it in which is an OSHA violation. They let their staff drink while on the job their staff is not trained in food safety and that cross contaminate raw fish raw beef raw chicken on utensils and ready to eat items. They don’t use gloves and don’t wash their hands, you’d be lucky to find soap at the hand washing station which isn’t used to wash hands it’s used to prep your food and it was never cleaned when I worked there aside from the few times I sprayed it down.. the staff is not pushed to have a clean and safe kitchen their only priority. If you’re going to just have a drink I’m sure you’re fine but I wouldn’t support an establishment like this who doesn’t care about the people who come and eat nor the people who work for them.

Perfect place for our group of 5 seeking a fun outing away from the dog show! Summing it up—delicious dinner on the back covered porch, plus courteous and timely service. Excellent coconut fried shrimp special, too much to eat in one sitting. Others had ribs, walleye and a burger — all wonderful with salads and another side. The employees seem to actually care about our experience. Laura was right on the ball in getting our drinks and order. We were very pleased and left a great tip. Thanks, Mac D’s, from the out-of-towners.

Worst service and food I have ever had. Ordered the Bacon Cheddar burger med well, it came our rare. I then sent it back after I took a bit. The SAME burger came back 3 min latter clearly microwaved. Absolutely disgusting. Never even received an apology. Had to tell the waitress I would not eat and to simply remove from my bill. Two other guest at my table ordered chicken wings and they were sent out still partially frozen in the middle. They have zero care about the products they sell and the service was extremely slow. While we were a larger group (13) it took over an hour to get our food THAT WAS STILL NOT COOKED FULLY. I will never return an I recommend anything before this place. Health code violations and rude service to boot.

We got there at 5:25 pm ordered loaded tater tots for appetizer. At the same time ordered burgers and onion rings. We got loaded tots. An hour and ten minutes later still no other food was brought out. Waitress lied that they messed up one of the burgers. Then we decided to forget the food and leave the waitress admitted she forgot to put the order in. The cooks were in the kitchen putting the food together without gloves. This is the SECOND TIME ORDER DIDN’T GET PUT IN AND WE WALKED OUT. POOR SERVICE!

Steak was very tough. Neither of us ate it. The green beans tasted like the were seasoned with old grease off the grill. The roll was hard and cold. The salad wasnt bad and the baked potatoe was good. Serve was ok. The price would have been good if the food had been good enough to eat but it wasnt. Will never go back.

We have been here twice. Each time every single staff member has been super friendly and accommodating. Andi is a great server. Pub area and Halloween decorations look great. I prefer the bar/ pub side. Food is really good. Burgers ++, German Potato Salad ++, Fries just need seasoning and they would be perfect +, Cole Slaw…meh, adult drinks ++. Had a cooking error but the staff handled it as perfectly as you can. The staff is the best part in my opinion.

We stopped in to have dinner and a drink before our kids basketball game in Wilmington. We sat at one of the bars, the waitress did not acknowledge us until I finally spoke to her. We put our food order in and an hour later it still had not arrived. We had to leave to go to the game before our food even came. My friend’s husband had to stay behind to pay and get the food so we would not miss the game. People who came in after us had their food before we did. And I mean they came in a good 15-20 minutes after we got there. It was a bad experience and we will not be stopping in there again. Next time our boys play Wilmington and we want to have dinner first, we willl try another place. You would think they would welcome new customers.

We’re from out of town visiting for the week and stumbled upon Mac D’s. We ate there three times. Everything we tried was awesome, from the chicken livers, double decker BLT, salads, hot German potato salad to the cheesecake. Well worth the minor out of the way drive. It’s on the east side of town. Family run and they care!! Great service!!
