My first time here, I was having a lunch meeting. The gentleman I was meeting with was running late and told me to “just go in and sit at the table by the fish tank.” I did exactly that, and when the waitress arrived I told her who I was meeting and she just smiled and treated me like I’d been coming there my whole life. Good, honest, country food. No one is trying to impress you with anything frilly here, they’re just good people who are gonna give you a good meal for a fair price. Cash only, don’t make the ATM trip of shame like I did . . .

A cash and local check only dinner that serves breakfast and lunch items. Breakfast is available during all open hours. The food was good. The cheese grits were recommended by our server. When we got them they were mostly regular grits with a bit of cheese swirled in last minute. Definitely not worth the price. It’s a cute mom and pop neighborhood diner where the locals come to eat. Worth a stop for breakfast or other American style food options.

Had my 2yr old grandson n a free morning, went for breakfast! We ea had the 1 egg breakfast with hash browns, grits, toast,a very nice biscuit, sausage n bacon. That was divided on 2 plates, it was very good home cooking! Finally made it for a breakfast run! My grandson noticed all the deer, just like daddy’s, lol. It is a cash or local check only place.

Comfortable place with ample portions of pretty good food. All their batter has egg in it but they will prepare fried foods without egg in the batter, very accommodating. Recommend the pork chops and the chicken strips. The country fried steak, not so much – good but not noteworthy. Cheerful service.

My new go to breakfast spot! Staff is great, friendly and fast. Food is made to order, but is super fast! Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was a little under done for my liking; however, that’s my fault as I did not specify “crispy” when I ordered. The home fries were seasoned perfectly. My husband loves their grits!
