A well needed affordable great tasting Mexican food restaurant in Redlands. There food is authentic made by a chef (it seems). Just had their Chilaquiles both red and green and both were really good. We will definitely be back. This isn’t a street style food place. Their machete taco and Jamaica is really good as well. The service is great too. Very nice people.

I absolutely love everything about this place. I been wanting to come to this place. I been coming to redlands cus my mom’s here in the hospital…. The only bad thing is they close early. … I think they should open later and stay later…. Cus man I’m so glad. I came a little early today. I had the number 10 and my gmps also had the number 10 and my GMA had the things enchiladas and let me tell u…. We gave it a 10 out of 10… I’m a chef do i know flavors … The guac was great… The green salsa Bomba… The red salsa a little too spicy… But the flavor smacks. I will come back. Facts….. Thank u guys… Service was cool… They had a different type of brewery beers … The guy let me sample them. He was sweet and funny… I didn’t get his name. But thank u for the experience

Great food, service and friendly people, they serve up seafood, steak, chicken and pork options in different dishes like empanadas, machete tacos kinda like a quesadilla type taco, street tacos and nachos, their food is different and very delicious Mexican fare, I’ll definitely come back to try something different

This place is DELICIOUS! Crafted beers, and DELICIOUS Mexican food. Do not sleep on this place. The tortillas are thick, for “street tacos”. Everything we got was pretty good. I honestly think this is way better then Mr. Taco in redlands. Hands down one of the best Mexican-American places, in my opinion.

Our 1st time going to Machete. It’s a cute place. Smaller than we expected. Friendly, hard-working owners. Good food & yummy frescas! New seafood items to be added to the menu soon! Not sure about the prices, little more than I expected, but we plan to go back.

I ordered tacos de papa and plantano machos con crema and it was delicious! The cashier and cooks are very nice and helpful. They have seats outside with light water sprinklers above to help out with heat. Along with sprinkler they have Tvs playing music outside. I’m definitely coming back here again

My daughter and I decided to try this Mexican Restaurant honestly we thought it wouldn’t be good Mexican food. The food was DELICIOUS! The food has a unique taste to it that you don’t get at most Mexican restaurants. I totally recommend that give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Okay I deleted my previous pictures and review of 4 stars because this place closed down and reopened under a new owner. So I been seeing them advertise there tacos on social media and decided to stop on by for lunch and was quickly disappoint. The lunch menu is nothing but tacos, Asada, Al Pastor, Pollo, Carnitas and two vegetarian tacos. Tacos are $3 which I thought okay maybe they are on the bigger tortillas so its worth it. Not worth it at all, that asada was pretty good but I felt like they didnt put enough meat, the pastor in the other hand was not good. It did not have flavor or did it come from the trompo. I spent around $30 for 6 tacos two sodas and a little bag of chips. Left this place very disappointed and hungry. For better tacos, better prices and free chips I rather go to Mr. Taco down the street from this place. I really hope this place changes its menu and comes up with something that works business wise for them but for now I really can’t recommend this place to anyone.

Came here for the first time today with my son. He is a picky eater and he loved their tacos and rice. It was the best rice i have ever had! They use a secret recipe. Will definitely come here whenever I am in the area!
