If this was for the food alone it would be 3-4/5 but unfortunately not a pleasant experience. The waitress was extremely rude and kept trying to run up the bill. Everytime there was an extra available she insisted “it”s the same thing” and we insisted “no, thank you” but she added the extras anyway. We found: out why: she automatically added 18% gratuity to our party of 4 for lunch on a weekday… the most disgusting thing though was the juice, we ordered a pitcher of maracuya juice we were told was natural… it 100% was not, it was powdered Zuko, $0.50 per packet and they charged us $18 for the pitcher. That’s inexcusable. I will never go back to this place. There’s other places to get good Peruvian food without this garbage service

Incredibly welcoming staff matched by fantastic, perfectly seasoned food. I eat a lot in and around Manhattan, and the food here absolutely competes/exceeds what you get there. Plantains are a highlight, as is the steak/onions/eggs dish (wish I could remember the name) I devoured – maybe the “poor man’s” lomo saltado. Anyway, eat here if you like good food and friendly service.

The food was fantastic, the most amazing food I’ve ever had. The portion sizes are very big, but we couldn’t stop eating – it was so good. Also my first time having Peruvian wine, which was delicious. Our waiter, Flavio, provided us with exceptional service and was extremely nice. He had great recommendations and talked to us about where in Peru they get their spices from. We cannot wait to go back 🙂

We stopped in while driving through because my wife was craving Peruvian. It’s a bit off the beaten path but well worth the trek. Some of the best peruvian food we’ve had in a long time. The ceviche is super fresh and clean with a great kick. I absolutely loved the anticuchos (marinated beef heart) and the fried calamari is great. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it.

Tried to order food here multiple times and the order was cancelled by the restaurant each time. It is a shame because I love Chifa and was excited to try their Chifa offerings. Definitely will change when I am able to actually get food without it being randomly cancelled for no reason.

The food is just okay, very cheap prices. But you get what you pay for. My waitress, the one an only server was all over the place, but was very polite. The place looks like an old pizzeria, dated. A terrible experience. Don’t order sangria, the worst. And bring cash their credit card machine is not working allegedly.

I’ve been to many restaurants and by far this food was the best I’ve had . You can taste the authenticity and love put into every dish . The drink was also really good .everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. I will be going back as soon as I can !! Thankyou to my bf for taking me here !
