Fantastic mom & pop restaurant. The portions were generous and the seasoning is on point. Very welcoming environment, great music. We had the shrimp po boy, big shrimp dinner and okra. Their in house dressing is delicious. We’re looking forward to trying their other menu items.

I got the fish po boy and it was the best I’ve ever had , the fish was fried perfectly and it was thick pieces of fish. My wife got the chicken and sausage gumbo. The chicken was so juicy and the gumbo tasted unbelievable. If you haven’t tried this place you are missing out! We had lunch here and will be back for dinner it’s that good. Our new favorite place to eat and everything is reasonably priced. So excited we found this gem of a restaurant

This food was amazing, I am Pescatarian and I sometimes just do veggies and their Veggie Wrap was amazing. Fresh Vegetables. The Beignet was so flavorful, sometimes having tastebuds are a sin. Please visit this establishment. Their New Orleans Style will not disappoint you. Amazing!!!!! The owners are very personable!!!!

What a great place! A wonderful family owned restaurant. Everything we tasted was excellent! My wife had a shrimp po’boy, I had the Jumbo Gumbo. We also got fried okra, and red beans and rice. Again everything was delicious and not too salty. Other “Authentic” New Orleans restaurants use extra salt instead of proper spicing. Not here at Mackey’s. We tried the peach mango bread pudding and the beignets for dessert. Again it all made our tastebuds dance! We will definitely be back!

I was in the area visiting another store for work and I saw this fine establishment and thought to myself let me give it a shot, and it did not disappoint! Had a chicken po boy with fries and it was so delicious and reasonably priced. The decor inside was so nice as well matching their New Orleans style food. My only regret is I couldn’t get a beignet.

Orange Park area, right from walking in felt like we were family friends. Very welcome and accommodating, really great atmosphere, with a New Orleans theme the Mackey both spoke to us and were fun to talk to. The food was incredible and delicious. Very fair prices, no complaints at all. We will be back.
