The waitress was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. It’s in a really nice location, set back next to the river. We sat outside and it was nice and shaded. The food was bad. It made me sick and most of our party of 8 didn’t care for it either. It’s quite pricy for the quality, or lack of. I did like the apple pie, but my dinner wasn’t good. I won’t be back for dinner. I might try their breakfast, or just get a shake, and sit but the river.

Best breakfast I have had in all of Oregon. This place is amazing. Tucked way back by the river and draped in loads of nostalgic stuff from the 50s, this is the type of place my dad would eat at every day if he lived here. Loads of sandwiches that the kids enjoyed. Great corn beef hash that was def not from a can. Breakfast all day, can’t go wrong. If you are in Shady Grove it’s worth a stop. Spotted a ton of classic cars in the parking lot.

This is our second time at Mac’s Diner, and it is a great place on the river. The atmosphere is great with a 50’s theme, classic cars, Marilyn Monroe etc, and large windows overlooking a portion of the Rogue River.

THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE BREAKFAST! Their buffet was AMAZING and fair priced at $15 per person. Their Decor was SOOO COOL!!! It felt like I was in a diner from a movie with pictures all over the walls that were from the 50s-70s. The booths were so comfortable and outside the dining room window there was a great view of the river! THIS IS A MUST STOP PLACE!!! I will be making road trips down their way again just to stop by!

This is a wonderful place to stop and eat. The atmosphere is so unique and right on the river. The staff is all friendly and amazing. The food, will leave you stuffed and more than satisfied. Everyone in our group had leftovers. The amazing waitress recommended the biscuits and so would I, so fluffy and perfect.

Comfortable, great view, food is great, service is good. I never really get the 50’s thing but if you’re into it, this is the place for you. I noticed that some of the photos need some cleaning. There’s smudges and even someone’s lips marks on one photo that is kind of gross.
