Typical country food here great meatloaf & shrimp, but the desserts are what really makes this place great. The peanut butter balls were my favorite! Along with the cakes, especially the pineapple cake, so delicious! They have lots of different cakes & pies Homemade too! Yum. You can order them whole to go and we noticed alot of customers doing that. They even gave us both a free slice! The staff was very sweet.

Ordered flounder, it was so dry, did not even taste like flounder, we heard shan on wixie bragging about the flounder and country cooking, very disappointed, sqash frozen not fresh , yams from a can , I call this false advertising, it’s not country cooking , not what I call country cooking anyway. Sorry to have to post this review, but don’t say it if it’s not true, people around here no the difference. Especially when it comes to fish.

Absolutely love Mac’s. Good southern fried food. Make sure you get the Mac & Cheese or the fried shrimp. And save room for dessert, because they make some of the best cake and pie, and Buckeyes (peanut butter balls) that I’ve ever had! Just make sure you get here quickly for lunch or you’ll miss out!

The food is good here but the atmosphere towards colored folks or at least in my own experience is not up to par….I’ve never seen one colored person even work there also whoever is making the meatloaf go back to the old recipe with brown sugar that new recipe
