Delicious fish & chips! Rivals England’s best (according to my sister!) Fresh tasting fish with a light and crispy batter. Fries are great too! Treat yourself and get some cheese curds! Keep bag open on way home to preserve that deep fried crunch!

Happy to have had the chance to try Mac’s as we live nearby. Disappointed that it was not someplace we’re excited about going back to. The cod I had was nice – crisp on the outside and nicely cooked on the inside. The fries (chips) we’re not great. The flavor was OK but they were kind of soggy. The slaw was OK too but not good enough to save the experience. The poutine was the biggest let down. The fries did not hold up to the gravy, the gravy was pretty flavorless as were the cheese curds.

Wife had the Halibut and Chips, I had the Cod and Chips, The breading on both Fish was so Light and Tender and took nothing away from the fish, Excellent recipe on that… Both came with a side of Coleslaw that had a little something extra we couldn’t exactly put our finger on but that we both felt brought that simple side up a notch. We shared an order of Cheese Curd Poutine that was Awesome, The Gravy was rich and flavorful. Over all, Great Meal. Will be back soon!

It was pretty good. Cooked well. Had walleye, cheese curds and fries. The cheese curds are amazing! Not a big fan of the cole slaw, could use more flavor, but everything else was good. And the service was friendly and fast. Would probably like tidge more seasoning in the fish batter, but they were cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed the key lime jalapeño tartar sauce! Nothing fancy inside but there is a cool mural on the wall, and they do have a few outside tables. I go back regularly.

Great food at a great price. Fish and shrimp we ordered were fresh and delicious. Ordered ahead and they brought our food out curbside. Will definitely be coming back. Note as of this review, they are not opened on Sunday so don’t try to order online as it will not be fulfilled.

This place is chill. I loved the food I got, but when the front of the house person delivered to my table, they spilled a few cheese curds that were a part of my order. I was expecting them to place the curds back, but instead, they took it away after placing down the food I ordered. All I could do was watch on, flabbergasted as they walked away with the curds they spilled on their tray, while I was thinking, “I paid for those as they were a part of my order.”…

Mac’s is a small fast food restaurant serving fish and seafood. You can buy fish and chips with cod, walleye, or halibut. You can also get shrimp or clams with chips. They also have fish tacos available. The food was prepared as we ordered and was fresh. You can order to take out or eat in at the restaurant. This was a fun place to stop for a quick lunch.

Best fish & chips , Cod Walleye or Halibut. I love the Halibut one. Comes with fries with chunky salt, UK style chips, and there’s Canadian Poutain, fries with cheese curds and gravy. They also make amazing fresh made taffy in many colors & flavors wrapped in wax paper, sold by weight so you can choose how much of what you want
