Really appreciate the variety of NA beer available at Mac’s! Great service and good bar food. Always a place to sit and watch TV or sit and watch out the window at the people on Hennepin. The tator tots and seasoned sour cream really hit the spot!

I used to come through here all the time a few years ago, but I don’t think I’ll be back. I’ve personally never met a French fry I didn’t like to the point I wouldn’t eat, so this was a first. It was almost like they were stale and then dropped in the fryer, they came out a weird texture tasting like cardboard. The chicken strips & onion strings a little overdone but were okay. It would be a good place to grab a drink and watch a game, but I’d pass on the apps.

Great comfort food sandwiches, and they’re open LATE for those of us that can eat a full meal at 10:30 pm !!

The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Cost about $14. The spiciness of it is extremely blunt and totally overwhelms any other hint of flavor. Felt like eating a brick of black pepper. Adding other spices would make it taste less bad.

The Best Reuben in the Twin Cities. My Father and I made a trip to visit all the places in an article published in a newspaper featuring the best Reubens in the cities. This is one that sells out, so order it immediately when you sit down. The balance of meat to sauerkraut and cheese are absolutely perfect. The macaroni is better than almost any place I have been. It is not a tangy style, it is a smoother flavor. I love the wonderful service for the couple of times I have been. I think we tried 10 restaurants where they offered Reubens, this was the best. Voted: Best Reuben on The Official Reuben Tour.

Can’t put tables together for a larger group, can’t take an open chair that no one is using (we had a group of 3 at a 4 person table but only 2 chairs), can’t get one of the several TV’s switched to the gopher big 10 championship hockey game that’s literally being played down the road. Not even the random NHL game, world baseball game, or several TV’s playing the same basketball game can get switched. It’s a sports bar. You think you would cater to the clientele. We weren’t the only group that left. Foods alright so 3 stars for the food.

This place should not advertise as a sports “bar”, more like a sports prison. At a bar you shouldn’t be pigeon-holed to a table that has crummy service. Go here if you want to sit at a table and eat mediocer bar food, not if you want a sports bar experience.

The food is excellent! Good beer selection and great place to watch a game. Very good service. We had a Reuben and Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which were both very good. Mac and cheese was spot on.
