First time here. We ordered the Caesar Salad for appetizer & for main entree, Linguini Scampi & Lasagna Bolognese. They’re very tasty. The salad came with pieces of real anchovies. Our scampi had small pieces of shrimp & a huge Kauai shrimp. Lasagna was tasty & there’s a crunch on the pasta. Staff are friendly & service was great. When I asked what Mad Bene mean? I was told it’s Crazy Good. Perfect name for this place.

Always delicious. Every week there is a new entree that always Wow’s my palette. The mixed drinks are amazing.. Queen Bee .. You must start off with this. Now the pizza is on another level that you must try. You will be back because you will fear that you missed some amazing cuisine.

Hoooooly 70 dollar kanpachi. Didn’t expect the size and price of it! It was pretty good, cooked well, and large portioned. Liked the crispy outside, moist on the inside, but overall not worth it. I know kanpachi is expected to be expensive, but what we ate tasted like maybe a $25-$30 dollar dish at best? Wasn’t very impressed by the pasta either, sauce was lacking flavor, and oil and taste from the sausage bits in the pasta was very unpleasant and overwhelming. It was also not that great of a portion for $20. The eggplant parmesean cheese sticks were good though. Tiramisu was kinda decent too. Overall, meh.. not worth the price.

Everything tasted extremely flavorful and had a satisfying texture. Service was great when we first arrived, but slowly declined as the evening went on. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable where both tucked in collared shirts or t-shirts and shorts alike would fit in. Overall I would come here again for the pizza and sides.

HOT HONEY PIZZA. went back two times for it. risotto is to DIE for. ordered 3 different pastas and each one was AMAZING. this is my new favorite restaurant. service, vibes, drinks, everything was 10/10. will be flying back to Hawaii just to come back.

The experience here was terrible. We showed up a few minutes early for our 5:00 reservation only to be told the inside was closed until 5:00. So we had to sit outside if we wanted to be seated before 5:00. They then told us it was happy hour so our kids tried to order three pizzas from the happy hour menu. When ordering the third pizza we were told it would be full price as we were only allowed to order two off the happy hour menu. This isn’t advertised anywhere. The sodas were flat. The food was just okay. Tried to ask for a side of ranch and was told it was $1.00 for sauces. The drink glasses are incredibly small so we kept running out and it took them a while to refill our cups even though they weren’t busy. Our lemonades were $6.00 for a 12oz lemonade and refills were not free. The bill was $130 for 3 pizzas, two orders of wings, 2 orders of the meatball sliders and lemonades (during happy hour).

We ordered some of the pasta dishes (garlic shrimp, and gnocchi appetizer in mushroom cream sauce). Both dishes were really bland, like they needed some salt or umami. Also the gnocchi dish gave us mild food poisoning, not sure why. Service was good though.
