Was so happy to see a MFC open up on Long Island instead of going to Queens but sad to say, I’m going to have to keep going back west. Everything was over cooked and/or over flavored. I ordered the soy garlic wings and the scallion chicken and both had too much breading on it and was over fried. The scallion chicken inside was tough and chewy as a result.

I was always a fan for MAD FOR CHICKEN in Flushing but now it is here in East Meadow (as well as a few more places on the island) with their ridiculously delicious soy garlic chicken! You have to be completely mad if you do not give it a try and I guarantee you that you will be mad when you actually taste how good it is. One of a kind frying that actually tastes good even if you need to microwave it the next day from ordering too much. Unfortunately I can only give it five stars since their menu is a little limited probably because they just opened up recently, e.g. no rice bowls but I’m sure it will be available soon, otherwise six stars. Just by opening near my stomping grounds has increased my will to live for 20 more years at least! Thanks MFC!!!

They tell you it takes about 15 minutes to prepare the food so sometimes I order before I go on my lunch break in order to cut the wait time and when I pick up my food it’s cold like it was sitting there for a long time. Every time I order something doesn’t go as expected but I try to give them a chance because it’s a new franchise. My last straw was when I came and ordered a

I’m a huge MFC fan, I usually go to the bayside location so I was excited to have a closer location. Unfortunately, the food was nowhere near the same. We ordered tenders, drumsticks and thighs and all the chicken was extremely over breaded. Due to so much breading, the inside was not properly cooked. The spicy soy garlic was not spicy at all, I could barely tell the difference between soy garlic and spicy soy garlic. Wouldn’t recommend this location at all until they can get on the same page as the queens locations.

Would NOT recommend until they correct their technique and follow the recipe. I ordered a large soy sauce chicken wings and small spicy drumstick and thighs. The wings were sweet and bland and the drums and thighs were spicy and bland. The chicken were also horribly overbreaded and dry. I loved their original Flushing, NY location and had the same expectations for this store. I received quite the opposite. Felt like a waste of my money for sure. Highly disappointed.

I am a huge mad for chicken fan, having eaten at bayside and forest hills location regularly.

Very excited to have an MFC out on Long Island finally. It’s not Bayside but the food and beverages are everything I’ve come to expect from Mad For Chicken. The dining area is a bit more spartan but having one this close to home is worth it. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Growing up in queens we absolutely loved mad for chicken, and are so excited that it’s now out by us in East Meadow! The soy garlic wings are to die for, and the truffle fries are incredible. Glad to see a MFC on the island!

The chicken was great. We had wings and tenders, with half reg sauce and half spicy. I took off one star because the restaurant looked pretty clean, but they have a serious gnat problem!

It’s not Korean fried chicken. The breading is thick and separated, the fried rice is so salty to a point where I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites.
