So, back story: We are from Queens, originally, and we used to frequent the very first Mad For Chicken there. It was small and cozy and delicious. It was our first time being introduced to KFC, so we were happy to learn that they are now a franchise.

Finally Korean wings close by and delicious! They are only doing takeout right now, but we were not disappointed. Food was still crispy and warm when we got home 15m later. We got the large half and half chicken. I like spicy food and there’s a nice spicy warm feeling left in mouth, but not burning. It’s yummy with a touch of sweet. Not like American wings, there is a batter layer that makes it so crispy! No wonder it’s so popular! Truffle fries were a great portion and the dumplings were so crispy and glazed with the chicken glaze. Perfection! Can’t wait till we can eat inside and get some fresh tap beer and enjoy with friends.

My first dine-in experience at Mad for Chicken at Plainview location has far exceeded my expectations. I have had several take out orders in the past but the crispiness of the freshly fried chicken is simply extraordinary and it could never be compared to what you get at home (which is still very tasty!) We had a set of Soju Flight and a pitcher of Oyster Bay Summer Peach for drinks and half and half signature combo with Toppoki (spicy rice cake). As an avid eater of Toppoki their dish was by far the BEST I have ever had! (Trust me and just order one to try!). I strongly recommend this place for you to try and I would definitely come back to try their other items on the menu!

What a cool place. Great vibe when you walk in. Torn between the fried chicken and wings. (BTW they have a combo with both) Opted for just Soy Garlic wings. Never had wings so juicy, and crispy at the same time. They know how to cook chicken.

We went there with family and ordered half and half wings and got only on flavoured. I licked all the wings to find out the spicy flavour and it was all the same. When told the server that i licked them to find the other flavour and it is only one flavour she took the wings and chef brushed the same licked wings in the kitchen and gave them back.

I ordered the spicy wings and the kimchi sandwich. The wings were crispy and the spice level was just right. The sandwich was excellent. The kimchi was fresh. Definitely will go back.

Just wanna say that it’s so crazy people making fake accounts to write bad reviews hoping it crushes this plainview location. As one of the loyal customers there I promise you this is the best place to eat in all of plainview by far. The chicken takes so long cause it’s actually not going to give you stomach problems. “Why does an order take 40 mins?” I don’t know people maybe because it’s chicken? Also I’m seeing some crazy posts about the staff not being nice or well trained. Everyone there is amazing and treats you just fine. This place is a 5/5 easily. Great place to bring your family or even a vibe to just go in alone. Huge fan of this spot. The owner is a great guy as well. I spoke to him about the renovations he did to the building. He put in all new pipes and everything. The water tastes fresh and so does the food. It really really has paid off opening ima mad for chicken in plainview. I wish it the best success. Also for anyone who doesn’t realize, the wings are super cheap for what they are and the happy hour is just insanely amazing.

Ordered half and half 20 pc tenders yesterday. Very good for the price (~$30 after tip and discount). I wish I took a picture of the food before our family devoured all: the chicken was crispy (even through delivery!) and was delicious. Can’t imagine how good they are at the restaurant. Will be returning soon. Thanks!
