Went for the first time Saturday night. Wife and I had the shrimps and grits. $20 each but the helpings were large in a large pasta type bowel with about 8 large shrimps and of course the garlic bread and dipping oil. I spend a lot of time in Orleans and this was good. Waiter was spot on and a local blues band played for 2 straight hours. Was very pleased.

The food was alright. I had the 14oz Ribeye. Cook was perfect and well seasoned. We also had the burger and chef salad. Both were alright too. The mozzarella sticks were what you expect, warm but not hot though. The price seemed a little wild for the menu offerings we had. I expected it to be a little lower given the menu offerings overall.

My wife and I have eaten here in the past and were satisfied with our meals. Tonight, 6/9/23 we decided to dine in again. She had the 8oz filet and baked potato, said it was all good. I had the grilled salmon, grilled veggies and a salad. The veggies were good, although the grilled brussel sprouts were very hard. The salad needed more than a tablespoon or two of dressing. The grilled salmon was inedible, very much overcooked, chalky dry and the one bite I took was tasteless . Even the bread, which is usually delicious was cold and tasteless. Very disappointed.

Everyone was friendly. Our waiter was Chris. He was great. They bring out garlic bread that is nothing like you get anywhere else. I had grilled salmon with grilled veggies and a baked potato and my husband had catfish and fries. Everything was so good!!

Yesterday, we enjoyed crab cakes, blackened grouper, and shrimp n’grits. Everything was delicious, even a simple side salad. It was a refreshing! The service was a breath of fresh air. Do you pay more? Yes. Will we do it again? Absolutely!

the wine was cheap, the waitress didn’t pour it and the grilled and blackened salmon were tasteless… was charged $1.50 per baked potato for a tiny bit of cheese and sour cream…spent $105 for the worst meal I’ve had in a long time.
