Nice change from the usual taco joint. This is a relatively small restaurant with a full length bar and a friendly vibe. Outdoor seating almost doubles capacity. They have a limited menu, but what they have is well prepared and fresh. We started with chips and delicious queso which required mixing, and a little cooling down to stay on the chips. The burrito and taco were very good. Seems like a great place to meet your “peps” for a quick bite and adult beverages. Service was great.

Chips were crisp and warm. Salsa missed the mark-tasted like taco seasoning—and super thick…fresh ingredients would meld together without adding taco seasoning Al Pastor street taco was the best thing we tried. The Pollo street taco chicken was dry and not really flavorful

Service was wonderful. Food was okay. But look at your receipt! It’s already a pretty overpriced place, so we went on Taco Tuesday when you can get 3 tacos for $10. Looked at my receipt when I got home (husband paid without looking) and we were charged $12 for the 3/$10 special. Also ordered Classic City Lager (a localish beer to Madison), normally a $4.50 to $5 beer in Athens and they were $7. Checked the menu and although that specific beer isn’t on the menu, the most expensive beer they have listed is $6. There’s no way it’s THAT good of a beer.

Fun little taco restaurant. Definitely a place to try. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The street tacos were nicely flavored and reasonably price.

Delicious food and AMAZING drinks but PHENOMENAL service! We are new to the area from western NC and this is hands down the best place I’ve been to. The people that work here are sooo inviting and super nice. Made us feel like we were home. Brandy makes amazing margaritas as well and is just a genuinely nice person! Will definitely be back again soon! Thanks so much you guys!

A great place to try different street style tacos. The carnitas were my favorite, followed by the pollo de tinga with the lamb barbacoa bringing up the rear. The bowl offerings seem light, but you actually get a decent deal of customization with the base offerings when considering the protein options and some of the cheese/ cream choices. You get a large portion for the bowls, and the tacos come with a doubled corn tortilla to help you tackle how stuffed they are. Each taco has a distinct profile so that you get a different experience from each one instead of feeling like you have the same taco with different meat. Fresh squeezed limes and el yucateca jalapeño sauce gives them the extra punch you didn’t know you needed. The street corn is perfect for sharing with another and whets the appetite for your chosen entree.

Incredible service! Top notch bar and Mixologists! The food is Incredible, the Lamb Barbacoa is near perfect. A different spin on Carnitas, these were almost light. A nice combination of a salsa Verde, and fresh lime and cilantro. The Al Pastor is forward on the pineapple in all of the best ways. The chips are lightly seasoned and perfectly crisp, the guacamole is smooth, and balanced: hints of garlic, red onion, cilantro, and lime. We closed with flan, rich, thick, velvety flan! Easily the best restaurant in Madison.

This would be a five star review if the food wasn’t so expensive.

The food was excellent. The service was on point. I got a good laugh at the El Luchador masks behind the bar and artwork on the walls. I will be back. Very reasonably priced!

The bartender was so helpful. I don’t remember her name but she had dark hair and tattoos. She was very experienced and explained the menu to me and made suggestions.
