This restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The staff was polite and hospitable. I ordered a half Tomato Basil soup and a half Artesian Grilled Cheese sandwich and it was fabulous! Complimentary bread and oil was served prior to meal as well. Highly recommend for soup and sandwiches. There was also a coffee bar and pastries however I did not partake of these. Would go back!

Cute and clean new cafe in downtown Pittsburgh, Texas. Delicious yet simple appetizer consisting of a soft french-esque baguette, a blend of italian herbs, and an olive oil to dip. I ordered 2 entrees. Spaghetti and a single giant meatball, which consisted of a blend of meats (beef and pork.) Lastly, an Italian combo sandwich which was the star of the meal, very herby and seasoned well, a few too many veggies for my taste so I think i would pull the green peppers and maybe the lettuce next time. The hostess/ cashier was lovely, attentive, and kind, very helpful. My biggest knock came slightly unexpectedly… the appetizer came with lovely herbs, and the sandwich did as well. The spaghetti and meatball had almost ZERO flavor. I discussed with them kindly that it tasted like straight water. If that wasn’t bad enough, a fellow co-worker of the hostess came out as I was just giving a few bits of advice (add salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, etc) and proceeded to bash another small business in town. To my amazement. Bad decorum. I’d love to go and give this place another look soon.

The food here just doesn’t taste good. It looks good, but tastes blah. For example, my grilled cheese had riccata in it – that cheese is never in grilled cheese for a reason – it taste disgusting and is a weird texture. Also, the tomato soup was worse than the La Madeleine tomato soup in a jar. It was chunky in a bad way and tasted like a shoe was cooked in it. Avoid this place.

Wow, just wow. The food is amazing and presentation is great. It took about 30 minutes to make a turkey sandwich, but overall an awesome place to eat. I recommend the tomato soup for sure!

I love the pasta lineup but especially the Samoan sapa Suey and polusami. Another favorite is the island ham and cheese very tasty. A nice slaw on the side of the sandwiches would be kind of a nice touch.
