Mademoiselle Paris is adding a second location in Wells Fargo Advisors Building on main street. Currently, the bakery operates in the UTC in East Manatee County, at Interstate 75 and University Parkway.
Jean and Myriam Dandonneau, the owners moved to Sarasota from Paris in 2016.
This new location is scheduled to open in October, in a 765 square foot space in the lobby of the 13 story building. It will feature a quick service version of the original bakery and restaurant, serving various freshly made pastries, sandwiches, salads, quiches and coffee.
This second location is exciting for us for so many reasons says Myriam Dandonneau. We are growing with a sister location in the city that we love so much.

This place is just mediocre, food is over priced for what it was. My boyfriend ordered a croissant French toast and it came out cold and had to ask for it to be reheated. French toast is meant to be warm not cold, and there was hair on the fruit as well that he got with his meal. Which did not sit well with us at all! I had ordered a quiche and it was just mediocre, I could have went somewhere else and received a better one. The fruit that was with my meal seemed to be several days old and did not look appetizing. The service was just okay, honestly wouldn’t recommend nor come back to this place in Sarasota.

Tried this place for the first time. They small tables inside and outside. Half the outside tables have umbrellas so that was really nice. The atmosphere was very French and well set up. They even had a gentlemen outside playing the accordion. Very much a “French” vibe. Started with mimosas and pastry’s. The marmalade that came with the pastry’s were wonderful! Honestly, we could have just had the pastry’s and been happy! We had the Crepe entree and the egg’s Benedict. First time having it with a pastry but it was fabulous and the egg was cooked perfectly. The host and waitress were very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are a fan of French cuisine. Will most certainly be back.

The crepes were amazing!!!! And the desserts were so pretty we had a really hard time just choosing three. We will have to go back and try every single one. If you asked me which one was my favorite, I would not be able to decide. I loved sitting outside under the umbrellas. Me and my brother both agree this is one of our favorite restaurants of all time. The owner was a really really nice lady and she was really kind to us.

Wow!! Just, wow!! Authentic. Beautiful setting. Everything we ordered was to die for. Even the pastries we took home tasted fresh the next day. The desserts are too pretty to eat, but we did enjoy every single bite. Definitely get a coffee and an opera cake and you’ll thank me later! This place is so good for lunch, meeting up with friends, or if you’re looking for something special while you’re on vacation.
