We wanted to go to Ellicottville to eat for the first time. I tried to call after 3:00 and got no answer and I also sent a FB message (which was seen) just asking if they were kid friendly as we had a 19 month old and I was ignored. Which was unfortunate.

My husband and I traveled all the way from Tennessee to ski at holiday valley and Madigans refused to serve us takeout even though several patrons were sitting at the bar with to go boxes (locals I assume). We were told the kitchen closed at 2pm and it was 7:30, yet people had to go boxes? I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t let my food sit in styrofoam containers. I do not recommend if you’re visiting from out of town. They just want to serve locals.

The bartenders made fun of my friend for ordering a margarita. Then proceeded to upcharge my transaction after I refused to tip for the horrid service we received. Spoke with the manager the next day and he was even worse than the bartender the night prior. Aside from that, the building was so dirty I wouldn’t have eaten there if you paid me!
