This place is the epitome of a classic dive bar. Amazing personable bartender, Lindsay, took the best care of us while we where here. It is definitely a place dive bar seekers should have on the list of places to frequent. Great drink and shot options that won’t break the bank like most bars nowadays. I will definitely be back.

Super cool “hole in the wall” nothing fancy, but the bartenders are sweethearts, and the drinks are really cheap. Cool Karaoke too!

Ambled across the road from the hotel and discovered a truly great local dive bar — and I mean that in a nice way. Beer was fresh and tasty, chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and plentiful. If only the young man sitting at the bar could have controlled his regular use of the F Bomb, it would have been a perfect evening. Definitely will be back if I’m in the neighborhood.

This is a great neighborhood bar. Friendly staff, diverse clientele, very welcoming environment. Wish they’d bring food back though.

We just happened on this place since it was across the street from the hotel but I’m so glad we did! It’s a great little local joint with their regulars doing it up on the karaoke Saturday night. The staff was friendly and attentive. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The place is great. Good quality sound, awesome singers and the staff is friendly. It’s like the sort of place where people are glad to see you. The karaoke is the reason I come here. Best in the city. It’s karaoke night. If you want to talk step outside.

Macro draughts are $2 ($1.50 on Wednesdays), food prices appear to have not increased since the eighties as well. $1.75 for fries, only $4-5 for sandwiches. Service was quick, the bartender/server was a balance of frank and affable. There is a single pool table ($1 per game) and a juke box. A local watering hole for those in the immediate vicinity, no frills, but reminiscent of many Michigan basements of those who grew up in the 80s and 90s, beer and sports memorabilia lining the dark wood paneled walls. It has a homey charm, particularly for native Midwesterners.
