Hands down great food! Porkchops fell apart, green beans perfect mix of bacon, sweet potatoes melted in my mouth, and the cornbread had divine crunchy edges. This is a must stop if you are driving down I-30 so worth the 10 minutes off the exit!! My wife had the burger and fries and they were amazing too!!

Worth the 10-15min detour during my road trip. Everyone was so happy and polite. I didn’t even know what to eat. My Grandma and I decided on the southern home style food they had. Perfect fried chicken, yams and green beans. And a pecan pie I would go out of my way to have again.

Drove 15 minutes out of the way off interstate since it is posted on Google that they are open and had excellent reviews, only to get there and have open signs on both doors locked and phone number goes to voicemail full.

Fried pork chop, white beans, and sweet potatoes were amazing. Very friendly and sweet people running that place, will definitely be back when I travel back down that way.

This is the best place ever. The ladies who run this place are extremely sweet and caring. The atmosphere here is simply fantastic. The food is fantastic and 100% homemade. 11/10 stars.

One of the best meals I have had! Google location is wrong don’t go straight go around the curve and it is on the right! Excellent, friendly people that know how to cook!

Recommend lunch when the food is fresh. We were there near closing about 4 pm. Southern cuisine is their specialty. We had fried chicken wings that were very good with sides of green beans and sweet potatoes that were good but nothing exceptional. We also had hamburger steaks with gravy and mashed potatoes. The hamburger steaks seemed factory-made and were tougher than hand-formed patties. The mashed potatoes were nothing special. The gravy was tasty and had green pepper slices in it. We had the cornbread, which is fried corncakes, and I think these are likely much better when fresh. All told, good southern food, but we had nothing I would call outstanding.

Food so good I had to bless it and the hands who made it! This place is the real deal! Best soul food EVER! I had fried chicken, REAL mac and cheese, chicken and dressing, corn and some kind of greens with bacon (Wish I knew what it was, never had it before but could eat it every day!) Everything is seasoned to perfection. I wish I lived closer but guarantee I will be back any time I’m in the area. A food critic needs to visit this place, it deserves national recognition! God bless the fine folks who own this place!
