Went for lunch today. Waited for 30+ minutes. The service was slow which seemed to be the reason for higher wait time. This restaurant has an open kitchen which creates more heat in the restaurant in addition to the 100F+ heat outside. It was very crowded and extremely noisy from the crowd and open kitchen with vessel noises. If you’re looking for ambient dining, this isnt the place. The menu and atmosphere is very similar to Kumars (austin) and Kupanna (plano). We got ambur veg biriyani, expected seeraga samba rice but it was basmati. Also got egg kothu parota, which was good but not as good as Kumars or Sangam.

Good food and great staff. They are running on a limited menu now. We ordered mutton curry dosa which was very good. Kerala Parotta was made fresh and was a good combination with Pepper chicken curry. Didn’t like the Masala Tea (Railway Tea) though. As per the staff, the Meals will be added later.

Really good food, try Kari dosa, parotta and veg kuruma, even madurai malli dosa is good. Almost every dish tastes authentic so do try this restaurant for a proper south Indian food. They are setting up the restaurant and not all the dishes are there, but they told it will be there within 3 weeks.. so try this one

Idhu namma madurai restaurant in Austin So, we were eagerly waiting for it to open. We dined in for dinner. Loved their thalapakkatu Biriyani and vanjaram fish fry. Must try!!

I recently tried the Kozhi Rasam, Mutton Kuthu Porata, and Biryani at this restaurant, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The flavors were fantastic, and the dishes were cooked to perfection. A must-try for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful cuisine!
