Don’t let the casual atmosphere fool you. The food is first rate. This was my wife’s first experience with meat pies & she was very happy & full. As for me – my item wasn’t ON the menu. A house special baked potato smothered with shrimp and crawfish. Delicious!!

Service was awful… the girl at the register/counter literally didn’t even take her hand off her chin to wait on us… acted like we were bothering her to have her wait on us. Food was not good, shrimp basket was overcooked, burned and the grease it was fried in tasted old. Sweet Tea tasted like it was spoiled. Horrible experience, will most definitely not be back and will tell everyone how bad it was, Especially the service!

Disappointing 1st experience and likely wouldn’t come back. The atmosphere was quaint and the staff nice, but my order was where it went wrong. I had a philly cheese steak poboy, and it was one of the worst I’ve ever had; there was nearly nothing between the bread and the sandwich was very dry. Wasn’t cheap either. There might be some other good options on the menu, but with an impression like that I wouldn’t try this establishment again. Didn’t at all feel worth the money.

Visiting Natchitoches for a few days and found this place on a google search. The pictures of those burgers looked awesome so we gave it a try. Just lunch didn’t want anything heavy so ordered an original cheeseburger menu said 1 lg meat well that’s not quite right. The patty was as thin as a sheet of paper and I am not exaggerating. It was all bread. Can’t comment on the taste because all you tasted was dry bread. Hands down WORST burger I ever ate in my life!!!! McDonald’s would have been better then this. I don’t even think a double Patty would have helped this burger. I even added a picture to show how thin the patty was.

The staff was super friendly. However, I was very disappointed.. I got the seafood basked and ended up throwing most of my food away. The catfish tasted dirty and the crawfish and shrimp had absolutely no flavor, like not even a pinch of salt. In the picture, you can see the color of the shrimp batter is almost white.

a quiet Sunday morning… with a great breakfast! Young woman behind the counter was more than pleasant. I travel fulltime in an rv and always try to visit local establishments. This one has a really great indoor/outdoor seating area.
