Great casual BBQ place you might miss if you are not looking for it. Very small unassuming storefront on the boulevard with what, at first glace, appears to be very limited seating. However, that is just the takeout operation. If you go around back, there are a few more parking spaces, a small dining room with table service, and a small patio next to the creek. The beef brisket was super solid, as were my sides of cornbread muffin, coleslaw, and baked beans. The spicy BBQ sauce was some of the best I have ever had. Definitely a good stop for anyone who appreciates a good BBQ meal. Salads and some other items are also on the menu for anyone in your group who is not as enthusiastic about a more traditional BBQ meal.

We had a party of four and sat on the back patio so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. The service was very slow and the staff appears to be all new. Three of us ordered the brisket and ribs plate and both were full of fat. The quality of food has changed. When our waitress finally asked how our meal was we told her we had been here several times and tonight the food was not good. She simply said, “really? I’m sorry.” The manager/owner never came to our table to discuss our complaint nor did they make any sort of adjustment to the bill. There are just too many other options for better food and a nicer atmosphere. We also miss the music on the weekends during the summer.

Ordered a half baby backs and bbq chicken, both were well prepared, seasoned and tasted great; came with garlic fries, cole slaw and salad; generous portions and quite authentic as far as bbq goes. The people are very nice as well. Good local place for take out (or done in I think).

Sorry, this is long: The family and I have quite a bit of feedback for this place. It’s easy to miss as you zip down the road and even easer to miss that they have space to eat. Hidden around back behind the little row of shops is an indoor and outdoor eating space with table service. When we got there at about 5:30 we were by ourselves, by the time we left just before 7 it was really busy and the single server was having difficulty keeping up with the folks (she really could have used some help).

Wow, what a find. This little privately owned restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Tucked back in a corner of an industrial section of Alamo, this is a gold mind. You can’t go wrong but I ordered the salad with burnt ends. I’ll be back. Sat outside in the shade.

This place is great, but they have closed for business. From their Facebook page:

My go-to BBQ spot. I especially like double meat night. Eat out on the patio on a summer night. It doesn’t get much better.

I walk in at a quarter to 5. first thing they said to me: we open at 5. Guess the meats not cooked until 5. That was the first time I’ve ever walked at that restaurant I guess they don’t need my money.

Looks like a little hole in the wall, but once inside you can see that they have a lot to offer! Great food and relaxing cozy patio!
