This used to be my favorite spot to go. New owner changed the food and it is not the same. Chewy low price budget costing chinese food. The beef is sour tasting. Bring back the orininal owner and make it great again. Seriously did you think we wouldnt notice the difference in quality. Well we did! Fix it.

I’ve been ordering from Magic Wok for the last 15 years, and have always loved to food. Ordered tonight and everything was just off. After looking over the recent reviews it looks like there are new owners. The sweet and sour chicken was actually pork (could happen to anyone), the other food was just mediocre at best. The pork fried rice was bland. The boneless ribs were a little dry. We will not be returning again. Sorry, but you shouldn’t have messed with a good thing. The service was prompt and friendly and I wish them luck in the future.

This use to be the best Chinese food in town. Ever since the new owner came in and changed everything it’s been a real disappointment. The rice sucks and the egg rolls are horrible. 2 of the best things they had are now 2 of the worst. Probably never going back. It’s a shame because I really loved this place ever since I was a kid. Not worth your time or money. Go anywhere else.

I have been coming here for over 5 years. Liked their Hot and Sour soup. The new owners have changed the recipe. There is no longer the pork shavings. The soup base is more vinegar than spicy. Maybe too much Chinjiang Vinegar? It just doesn’t taste the same. Why would they deviate from the recipe that was probably shared with them. I didn’t get much black fungus either. I guess its time go back making it homemade.

It’s hit or miss with this place. Sometimes the food is made well sometimes under cooked/tough. Don’t bother ordering from doordash cause someone there can’t read. I ordered spring rolls and one order is missing the other is shrimp. This has happened numerous times!!!. I hate shrimp! Imagine if I had a shellfish allergy. You could’ve killed me but who cares right? Waste of money! It’s from doordash so of course no one will bring me my correct order. It’s 10pm and I’m stuck sharing my son’s food with him because of this. Hit or miss if you call or pick up. Don’t waste your time doing doordash cause the order is never right!

I’m torn. It’s great food but dirty. I see so many gross habits. The order-placing negotiations are silly. When you call, try to pay credit card, you’ll be asked to pay cash. You’ll be asked to order soup. “No noodles?” You’ll get up-sold at every turn, but the food is good and not the same frozen stuff that you’re getting at all these other places. They’re chopping up chicken from whole not cooking up frozen food. I see some of the reviews mention incorrect orders. I’ve ordered 30+ times and that’s never been a problem. At times I’ve had egg rolls that seem a few days old and oversaturated with oil and maybe 1 or 2 times with chicken that was overcooked but in general, really good food. Just wish their cleanliness was better.
