First visit to the popular local pizza restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. The service was quick and friendly while the menu was tasty. We enjoyed pizza and subs with fries. Location is convenient and there is a beer joint that is co-located that offers a lot on tap. My only gripe is that it was cold in there. You can’t take off your coat and your feet will get cold so I recommend carryout only during winter.

The white pizza was mid level, my kids ate the cheese, but to me it tasted like Ragu sauce. The calamari was horrid and inedible. It was cold and crunchy…you could literally snap it in half. It was like someone left it on the counter for a few days and decided to get rid of it finally. Never, ever again.

As you can see in the photo, sign clearly says open; however, doors are locked. TV inside is on so not sure what they are doing. Hopefully they can figure out how open/closed signs work.

Was in the area and really wanted parmesan grinder. I’ve driven by this place numerous times and thought I would go in and give it a try. First I was very surprised at the size of the place, from the outside it looks like it’s just a tiny little joint but it’s actually pretty large inside and they have a number of draft Taps on the walls as well. It looks like it’s similar to other tap houses I’ve seen where you can buy by the ounce. They have a number of pizzas on this play where you can pick and get a slice I looked over the menu made my order at the counter with a young lady who is very pleasant and I ended up getting a Parmesan sausage “hero” as they called it, extra toasted. Didn’t take very long for the order to be made. They did a great job extra toast in that, for some reason why the places can’t get that right but they did. The sausage was pretty tasty and had a little bit of a kick to it maybe a spicy Italian sausage a little bit of tomato sauce with some good mozzarella cheese melted on the top. Overall it was pretty good. I would definitely come back and try some of their other items it seems like it’s a good mom-and-pop type Italian joint.

I actually enjoy their pizza, so I’m sad to have to write this review. Twice now they’ve made errors that frustrated me. The first time, I had requested that they do not cut my pizza. To my disappointment, they still did, and I had to wait for them to make a fresh one. Earlier this week, I asked for a mushroom pizza as we do not eat meat. While they correctly left the pizza uncut, I was very upset to see some meat added on the pizza. My family was disgusted. Highly unprofessional and inexcusable! A waste of what should’ve been a delicious meal.

Disappointed in the new layout of the restaurant. It feels uncomfortably narrow with primarily 3-top tables which is odd for a suburban family restaurant. The management is encouraging a waited-table model that is awkward for the restaurant design and abandons the counter service “fast casual” model that we loved about Maglio’s. We enjoyed being able to run in and grab a quick slice or calzone on busy weeknights between activities. I really don’t understand why they are trying to compete with the numerous waited-table pizzerias on Hull Street. Sad to say we won’t be back anytime soon with the new Maglio’s setup…

The table was sticky. Our server was almost non-existant. Ordered garlic bread. It was so gross. It had some kind of liquid butter and heaps of minced garlic. Not fresh garlic but the jar of minced garlic you buy at the store. We ordered a Sicilian cheese pizza. It was a huge deep dish pizza. The crust was yummy but there was very little tomato sauce and cheese. Very skimpy on those toppings. We were given small plastic cups, cheap paper plates and no silverware or napkins. It was very weird. High note… The place was clean with nice decor. Parking was free. There was wheelchair access.

We love this place and have been going since the week they first opened. The staff are always friendly. The lunch specials are a good deal. The pizza is your normal pizzaria food. The sandwiches are pretty good as well. Their vodka sauce penne is amazing. And their Maglios Salad is REALLY good.

This is one of my work lunch spits. I love their Antipasta salad. It is a big serving for the small. Their pizza also has a lot of flavor and the crust is fantastic. It’s all about the crust! The staff is also fantastic.
