This was my first time visiting this restaurant. Me and my mom went for lunch. We got the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they were excellent!!! I had the special that day which was hamburger steak with gravy and onions. For my side I chose the collard greens. They were the best collard greens I have ever eaten. The cornbread was good too. It was moist but still has a good texture. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in West Point, MS and have time to sit down and enjoy your lunch. There was no wait. We were seated immediately and the service was great!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m from out of town and in West Point training for a new job and happened to see this place downtown. Very happy I did. I had the grilled shrimp with collard greens and grits and it was extremely good. Will definitely be back the next few days while I’m local.

They Have Great Food !!! But I Have To Say I Was Very Disappointed In Them Today I Called And Placed A To Go Order And Was Told It Would Be 30 Minutes When I Went To Pick Up My Order They Said That They Didn’t Have A Order For Me At All And The Manager Didn’t Even Try To Help With The Situation I Just Walked Out Hungry And Upset At How I Was Treated I Want Be Back I Usually Eat Lunch There Everyday I’m Sorry Yall Gotta Do Better

I was very pleased with the suggestion of our waitress to try the pork chop along side greens with mac and cheese. But based on the meals of my lunch hosts, there was apparently no wrong choice to be had. Clearly this is a treasure in West Point.

Had reservations for 12:00. We didn’t even start to get the food until 1:40. Then they brought out 2 orders, then a 10 to 15 minute wait and brought out 3 orders, then another 10 to 15 minute wait and finally brought the other 3 out!! Lots of people came in after us was served and left before we even got our food!!

Called today about a reservation for me & my family! Whoever is their “NEW” manager he said, needs to have better customer service! All I asked was a reservation for 10 at a certain time, not the attitude saying he couldn’t do it. We arrived and the building had PLENTY of open seats! Our food & also other multiple customers that were there waited almost 40 minutes for food, RIDICULOUS! Our server was nice & helpful, we apologize if we were a little grouchy towards him, he seemed to have a lot going on helping other customers.
