The food was good and generous portions. We were greeted a bit strangely upon arrival. The restaurant was half full and we were told to make a reservation next time, but that she would seat us this time. It was an odd approach and my son’s first impression. I hadn’t been there since I was a teenager and always loved the food… Which was great.

Their food is very good. They are able to accommodate my food allergy as well. I am really going to miss this place when it closes. I remember eating at this restaurant with my grandmother, and my mom when I was a kid. I also ate here with my kids, my mom and stepdad. Those cinnamon rolls are the best. As my mom shines down on us from Heaven and is always with us, we are hoping to make it for one last family dinner. Magonis will be missed after all these years. Thank you.

AWFUL DO NOT ENTER! Greeted with our first drink for my child with some rotten milk! Food is terrible. Will be leaving to enjoy a gourmet bowl of spaghetti os on my couch!!! Will never return!

I didn’t understand why I was treated the way I was. The server was rude and abrupt with me. I did not appreciate the comments she made. The register did not want to do a split payment. She did not have the patience. If the register doesn’t seem to accept a split payment, you just need to explain that to the customer.

My wife and I are from the west coast and flew into town for a family funeral. Were feeling pretty depressed and worn down, saw this place from the road driving to hotel and thought right away it looked charming and venerable. We weren’t wrong – food, service, and conversation with our neighboring table were all 5 star. Anyone who says prices here are expensive is insane – our bellys were bursting with delicious parm and marsala. Thank you so much for everything, hope to be back some day.

I went to Magoni’s for a business meeting. The server was super and very attentive. The decor is very dated and the place was empty. There were TVs and Keno on the wall which kind of took away from the atmosphere. The food was very good with generous portions. The staff was so good. One of the people in our party is turning 84. They brought him out a very special dessert. I give Magoni’s an A.
