Called this place yesterday (Sunday) 3 minutes away from it, saying that we were a party of 2 and wanted to know what the wait for inflow traffic was .We were told it was 3 minutes. We show up and the hostess tells us we have to wait 2 other parties before we are seated. So after waiting well over a half hour outside in the humidity, with a hostess that was less than polite & congenial we finally were seated. The food was decent and luckily there was an upgrade with service attitude that saved this review. They might want to brush up on their accuracy when people call in ahead of time as far as being remotely close to the amount of time one should anticipate. It’s kind of like a bait and switch. Not a good look. Maybe ask for the person’s name that you talk to to get some accountability when you find out that you’ve been completely misled. Perhaps the ownership or management can tell the hostess what a smile is. So it doesn’t give off the, (this is the only game in town) restaurant vibe so much.

Was looking for a place for a good salmon salad for a light dinner and came upon this spot. The parking lot was full but they got us in after a short wait. Our waitress Stephanie was great. Supper attentive in a clearly busy restaurant. The food was tasty and fresh and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be coming back .

So what’s funny is when we arrived we got a bad vibe from the waiter and hostess and then we said we had driven an hour so we’re not turning back, then when I get home I went and read the reviews and I saw that someone felt discriminated against at this establishment. And in 2023 that’s NOT acceptable. Today we had dinner and we did enjoy the food but not the service. Out waiter was NOT friendly at all when we left no one thanked us for coming and there were like four people at the hostess stand. They sat us WAY in the back and we were the only people of color in the place. The pizza is over priced and tiny portion. The honey hot wings and honey hot dip is amazing but the all white staff and vibe was not welcoming.

Had heard about this place a long time ago. I was in the area on a Friday just after lunch and decided to stop in. Place is medium sized but they have a huge tented outdoor area as well. They are famous for “honey hot” boneless wings so that is what I went with. They came out super fast and were very very good. I see why they are famous for them. The bartender/server I had was Kelly. She is remarkable. As someone who has seen a LOT of bartenders in the past 50 years : ) , there is one type that is head and shoulders above the rest. They can be super busy and still be friendly and engaging, they move from task to task like lightining, and they never stop. All while smiling and making you feel comfortable. Outstanding on all counts…..

Great friendly service and good food. Pretzel appetizer was delicious. Got the stuffed chicken breast which was really good but not great, was a little dry but I should have asked for more gravy. Beer selection was a little disappointing for an Irish pub but definitely worth going back.

No one should feel unwelcome or excluded based on the color of their skin. The fact that myself and my friends were not seated, despite waiting for over an hour plus. When they told us it would be a 30-minute wait. We were subjected to racial profiling by the staff. It’s deeply concerning that the restaurant would treat customers in such a discriminatory manner.

We’ve always loved Maguire’s, but their prices have risen a bit (understandably) the past few years. Went there with my parents from out of state who raved about last year’s experience there and it was pretty disappointing. Got there at 5:15, 20 minute wait for a table outside, 40 minute wait for our food. When it arrived, two of the dishes were cold and two were completely incorrect. Server barely checked on us, randomly gave us extra water we didn’t ask for, and when the food came out wrong she said “I’m not doing well today”. Fine if someone’s having a bad day or a personal problem but for the prices on their menu, mistakes like this should not be made.
