I’ve eaten here, ordered catering for my last holiday party and today ordered take out. It doesn’t matter what you choose, they do a really good job with your order. On top of that, they are very transparent on how long it will take for your order to be ready. I love the management and truly enjoy their food. I totally recommend this place.

Update: Later that day, I texted the main line explaining the whole event. Jacob, the owner, sent me a lengthy message apologizing for what had happened. He informed me that he had discussed with his employees and train them on how not to have this happen again. He refunded the money that I spent and offered me a free meal for the future, if I am willing to visit again. I do appreciate the offer and the willing to contact me right away to try an remedy the situation. I have adjusted my rating from 1 to 3 stars as a result. Honestly, the food and service up until this point had been amazing and something I looked forward to.

I was so looking forward to the food because I had lived on the Big Island for a few months, but I was very disappointed. I had the short ribs and my friend had the Hawaiian BBQ plate. All of the meats were so very sweet, but without underlying savory flavors such as ginger and garlic. One order of spring rolls was buried at the very bottom and soaked with the sauce by the time I got home, so I had to toss it. Regretfully, I cannot recommend Mahalo Hawaiian BBQ and I will not be back because the flavors were just not there.

This restaurant makes some of the best Hawaiian BBQ in my opinion. The price is extremely reasonable and the food portions are very good. It taste fresh, I got the prime beef and chicken combo and it was delicious. The meat were tender all the way through, their sauces are good too. Definitely come here for a take out !

I went here yesterday. Front cashier was nice. Food was very very good. The macaroni salad wasn’t as peppery as Hawaiian bros or buttery as LL BQ. It had a mayo like flavor to it. I got the beef and chicken platter. They were both sweet, as expected. It was very delicious! I love Hawaiian food so so much. It was worth the drive. The portion was a decent amount too and price was pretty good. I will definitely go again.

First timer here but not first time for Hawaiian food. It’s in a shopping strip. Walk in and order your food and sit and wait for you food. We ordered 4 plates, 2 orders of musubi, and extra mac. It was about a 15 mins wait. The clerk was very nice. He told me for every order of $30, you get a free soda. He brought our food out to us and came back and asked if we needed anything else.
