I have been making Korean food for 16 years and I also spent 2 weeks in Seoul tasting home cooked foods. As far as flavor profile this place was spot on. I really enjoyed my spicy pork, side dishes and soups. Although I make my soups a little more thicker and salty it still hit the spot. Kimbap was delicious and the tea was endless. I loved the hospitality and service. I live in Tracy but gladly make the trip out to Concord to eat at this place. Other restaurants have a tendency of placing the pork on a bed of onions on a semi sizzling cast iron plate, but not this place. The plate is so hot that the onions are caramelizing under the rendering pork fat. Oh man did it hit the spot. I just had the cold leftovers and they were as satisfying as last nights dinner. The side dishes were made to perfection and as soon as we ran out we were asked if we would like more which is unheard of. Normally, you have to flag someone down to ask for extra tea or side dishes but not this place. All in all I’d say when youre in the area go here. The price is just right and for the amount of food you get it’s worth every penny.

I had the bulgogi and the seafood and veggie bibimbop in the sizzling stone bowl. They brought out the ban Chan first and every single one was amazing. My favorites were the eggplant, the daicon, and any of the the things that had a potato in them, which a few of them seemed to. The bulgogi was delicious, very tender. The bibimbop was huge and had like 10 different things in it. I’ll definitely be going again.

Didn’t sit down to eat but I ordered food to-go and didn’t disappoint. I also appreciated the fact that they packaged the side dishes so well for our order as other korean restaurants tend just put the items side by side in a big container.

I come here fairly regularly, and just tried something new. Yummy! I had the lunch special, Woo Guh Ji Gal Bi Tang. So yummy! I will be back for this again. The sides are delicious as well, bc and service is great.

This place at the time of this writing has only been open 6 months or so. The food seems a bit expensive, but wow! The quality and the amount you get is impressive, the food tastes great and traditional. It is easy to over order your food. One of the best Korean restaurants in this area. The only issue is service is slow and they have some difficulty understanding English, but if you are patient and understanding, you will be in for a great meal.
