I just had the most amazing time at this Korean Restaurant in Dallas, and I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts. Maht Gaek is seriously on point when it comes to serving up some mouthwatering Korean dishes. The flavors were off the charts, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was super cozy and laid-back, perfect for enjoying a fun night out with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to have a fantastic dining experience. They even gave us some great recommendations on what to try, which was a total game-changer. Oh, and let me tell you about the banchan (side dishes). They were so delicious and varied, adding an extra burst of flavor to every bite. If you’re a fan of Korean food, Maht Gaek is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

The grilled pork ribs in original sauce is a must get. The hotpot was hearty and umami and paired very well with either rice or the crispy and chewy seafood scallion pancakes.

I can see why this place is always packed because the food and service is truly top-notch. I’ve tried most of their broths, all of which are packed with flavor, but my favorite is the pork bone soup. The portions are immense, so it’s perfect for sharing amongst friends or family. The seafood pancake is a must try!

Came for lunch and had the grilled mackerel and the hot stone bibimbap. The portions were large and the banchan was pretty good. It got packed so I’m glad we got there around 11:30.

Cute local place to go with friends. Not the place to go eat alone. Unless you are binge eating and drinking by yourself because you had just suffered heart break and want to drink by yourself with some food. Then this is the place for you. The food is solid by the way. Everything is balanced really well. I loved how they gave a lot of side dishes! They not shady like other Korean places. You get a plentiful amount and it is GREAT!!

Most likely one of the best Korean restaurants in DFW. The food was so delicious. Staff was friendly and there’s usually a wait. The smaller the party the faster you get in. The pork ribs are my favorite and every single side dish was the best I’ve had around. Cannot go wrong eating here.

Great place for some good korean food. The place gets busy and isn’t that big, so it’s best to go early to avoid the long wait.
