AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Owner stopped by our table multiple times to check on us. Great atmosphere. Beautiful wood restaurant. Food was really good. The sides were super flavorful. Their super spicy BBQ sauce called “The Maniac” was my absolute favorite! Worth the try if you like spicy foods. Carolina Reaper peppers.

Very calm atmosphere, the brisket falls apart in your mouth. The perfect texture !!! I am normally not a meat eater, so when I tell you this meat is the best by far, I truly mean it. I have eaten food all over the United States and I have never had a brisket this good. The okra is crisp and not mush. Fabulous!!

We had an absolute amazing experience! My son is autistic and has trouble with loud noise and to many people and usually wont eat at restaurants. He loved it and actually ate at the restaurant! The server we had was amazing and so sweet. The owner was so kind and gave suggestions for next time even after we told him our food was amazing. Will definitely dine again!

Lady at the window was quite rude. The food was it good. The brisket was gross. It tasted bad, was like a weird grayish brown color, and the texture was very strange. That turned me off completely and ruined the whole meal. I had been told this was the best place around, but I will try something else next time.

Mahylon’s used to have the best BBQ in town but the last couple times I was there, the sliced brisket was real tough and didn’t have flavor, plus the prices are really high. A chicken breast is $16.99, that’s too expensive. Charlie’s Chicken has a rotisserie chicken breast for under half the price and it’s delicious. If they would fix their BBQ like they used to, it would be good, so it was disappointing. I could defend it being not great once but 2 or 3 times, something has changed.

They have it on their sign and it’s not bragging. QUALITY. Enough said. Thank you, for a great meal! I had the Salmon and it was perfect! The sauce served with it is a wonderful surprise. You will have to discover your it yourself! You pay for what you get so don’t be surprised.

YOUVE GOTTA EAT HERE!!! We stopped by after a long day of travel and the owner, Kenny was seriously the nicest person ever. We’ve never had an owner of a restaurant personally thank us for eating there and ask us our experience in such a kind manner. The bbq was good but the BLUEBERRY LEMON bread pudding was out of this world amazing. Everyone was so nice! Will definitely be back.

Went in for our first time with high expectations just because of how the locals talk about it. Nothing too impressive. Our waitress Ashley, however, was a delight, attentative without being overbearing. The sweet tea was killer, and the waitress recommended blueberry lemon bread dessert hit the spot.

On a road trip to National VFW headquarters and wanted steak. A local in a neighboring town told us this was the best steak in town and they weren’t lying!! He had the 22oz Ribeye and I had the bacon wrapped filet and they were amazing! Tender and delicious! Best steak I had eaten in a long time! Waitress was friendly and very attentive. My only complaint was that I was not able to leave room for dessert so we took it to go! Will definitely try to stop here again on the way back home! Go Army! Hooah!
