Familiar faces, an inviting atmosphere and mouthwatering food. Mahzu prides itself as the community’s dining table away from home.

Since opening our first restaurant in 2000, we have become the go-to establishment for premium Japanese cuisine. Our dual offerings make us unique, with one part of the restaurant dedicated to sushi and the other hibachi style dining.

We don’t serve alcohol, but we are BYOB and are happy to provide ice buckets and glasses upon request.

We specialize in taking large groups and parties, bring the whole family!

Mahzu was a great place to dine for our group of 10. The place is very spacious & clean.The food was like in any other hibachi restaurants in the US. But Wayan, our hibachi chef made our dining experience one, a wonderful one. He was a pro not only with his culinary skills but his interaction with the fellow guests was worth 5 stars ⭐️. The only thing we weren’t aware was the BYOB policy & we missed out on the beverages. If they add a bar, then it’s going to be a hit. Anyway, we had a wonderful time. ✅✅✅✅✅

My husband and I felt like hibachi, I had the shrimp and scallops ; he had the salmon and shrimp. He wasn’t a huge fan of the salmon. The service was excellent however. We had a lovely conversation with the people we were seated with and they even paid for our meals! Very grateful for the conversation and our paid meals.

I came here during my lunch break, running low on time. The server there allowed me to make my order to be prepared by the time I reached there. I rated service as a 4 star just because he was hesitant to take my order (asking who was going to pay if I didn’t show up, so I had to make the comparison of the order being to-go and asked how they handle people not showing up for their food in such situations lol).

Been coming here all my life, went on mothers day and customer service has gotten worse! Rude hostess, waited over 30 mins to get drinks, over an hour for service to be started because they wanted to fill table up as much as possible (we had a reservation and they only ended up seating 2 more people). Hibachi chef lacked any enthusiasm, entertainment, etc. a bit disappointing. Quality of food is same as always

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience at Mahzu. The food is underwhelming and the restaurant is in desperate need of a deep clean. There was a group that was super disrespectful to staff and other diners- and no, I’m not talking about being loud having fun at the hibachi table. I’m talking rude. The managers never intervened and this really ruined the experience for everyone else in the restaurant. It was very awkward.

Chicken was mediocre at best and didn’t seem cooked enough to be tender. Very dry and/or frozen. Waiter didn’t seem to care when told about the food. Waiter also forgot our requests two times over. Even brought out the wrong soup for all of us. Sushi was good.

I love hibachi. It is one of my favorite places to indulge and I always am excited for the big portions, knowing I’ll have leftovers to bring home. This was not the case. Although all the food portions are normally larger, my amount of vegetables was ridiculously tiny. This photo was taken right when the chef was finished cooking- plate untouched. Disappointing.
