Food was amazing. The wait staff were a bit busy. I had the salmon pizza and it was a bit salty, but lots of good smoky flavor and nice balance of bread, protein, and sauce. Highly recommend this place if you have time!

A welcoming atmosphere serving delicately prepared food using really some of the freshest and best tasting local ingredients. Service was excellent, always with a smile. The daily specials are often creative takes on some classics. Today, we had a really flavorful dessert pizza, a Neapolitan crust lightly spread with custard and topped with blackberries, raspberries and sliced strawberries lightly sprinkled with cinnamon. Every-time we visit the Pullman-Moscow area right at the border of Washington and Idaho, Maialina is a must go to dining experience. Just one additional thing, tips is already included in the bill, no need for doing mental mathematics.

It’s a fun place to go. Wood fired pizza and delicious nutrition salads. Waitress really friendly. I git a free pizza because it was my birthday.

Fancy ambience, quick service, polite and friendly staff. We took 2 8 oz wines, Valentine’s special pasta and Pizza followed by a olive oil lemon cake as a dessert. We paid $85 for all these items which was more than sufficient for 2 people. Food tasted good and quality was good too. Hygiene is maintained. Right in the heart of Moscow downtown. Public parking and street parking is close by (3 minute walk on an average).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maialina Pizzaria in Moscow, Idaho. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right amount of light to create a cozy yet elegant ambiance. The staff were all friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

The food is good. The service is terrible. We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday here last night and waited one hour and 15 minutes for our food. AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES! I understand the kitchen being backed up when you’re busy, but what would’ve been helpful was if our server had communicated this long before she actually did. In fact, she only came by our table once in the whole time after taking our dinner order. She also wouldn’t accommodate a drink order, and she was curt and obviously irritated whenever we had a question about the menu. I have to wonder if having the tip built into the cost keeps the service from being outstanding? After all, what motivation is there to provide top notch service if you aren’t worried about getting a tip?

I seriously could eat a 5 gallon bucket of that roasted beet salad! It was so good. I don’t know the name of the pizza I got today, it was the special and it tasted soooooo delicious! Nice authentic wood fired pizza! Yum!

Our server was great. She offered suggestions and good guidance. The spaghetti was interesting. Thicker than usual and served al dente. Quite Italian.

The food is simply delicious, but nothing to write home about. The three stars is for the poor work environment where staff are talked down too or favored. Recent changes have forced the staff to be quiet in the kitchen to “focus.” Kitchen is extremely cluttered with items that things would fall on you while working. No oven mitts provided so cooks were forced to use dry rags “if any were available” to grab items from hot stove or ovens. Knives were not properly sharpened which is more of a hazard than a sharp knife. Designated “cut gloves” would have holes torn in the fingers making them useless. The owners have tons of money and yet make all the profits off the hard work of their employees they don’t even take care of.
