This restaurant is sort of a functioning museum. The Maid Rites are great and the staff is efficient. Portions are generous and prices are very competitive for comparable food. A spoon is provided with your delicious Maid Rites. Unfortunately I could not rate this location higher due to the cleanliness of the restaurant and the condition of the restaurant, although I still recommend stopping by to enjoy the food.

The Cedar Falls, Iowa MAID-RITE is not only rocking out their famous sandwich, they are making made from scratch PIES every day!! I had three slices! Coconut Cream, Fresh Strawberry and for nostalgia Rhubarb! All three were amazing! From the perfect flaky crust to the filling, so tasty! This location has been open for the last 77 years and owned by the same Family for the last 44 years!! Had a wonderful time with the Owner Penne and her staff, but also with My Mom, My Sister and her Family and my Best Friend Drew and his Wife Angela! Miss you all already! We went in at 2:30pm. They close at 3. Everything was so fresh, the fries OMG!!!!! Haven’t been there in 20 years. So delicious!!!!! What a change from “fast food!!! They talked to us and we’re so friendly!!!! They even gave us chocolate covered strawberries!!!! They have daily specials!! Will definitely be back…especially on a Friday, Hot Beef Sandwich special!!!!! Strongly recommend this restaurant!!!!

Cozy little gem. Staffed by two friendly young ladies. Was a bit busy when I arrived, but the wait time start to finish was reasonable. Good variety for a small specialty food resturant. Menu had perfect amount of options. I ordered the jalapeño maid rite (add mustard/pickle), small onion rings instead of fries and a small mugs root beer no ice. My sandwich ended up without jalapeño, yet still very tasty. My soda had ice in it, my ocd wouldnt let me drink it but thats ok since Im not a fan of Pepsi products. However, I was pleased to find out they’re changing their soda vendor to Coca Cola!!! They seems to have some lunch time regulars which is awesome. Love, love, love it! Will visit again soon!
