You really do not come across places like this anymore, and I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this while meandering around Milwaukie in 2017. Regrettably, I did not try anything from the soda fountain. I think at the time I was walking off a meal from Libbie’s down the street, but the Collectors Mall was amazing. They had a decent spread of merchandise, from comics and pop culture stuff, to random antiques. It’s worth a stop if you are in the area. Don’t do what I didn’t, get a fountain drink while you are there.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, and there’s a ton of nooks and crannies to discover. It’s a staple of Milwaukie, and they have a very cute diner-style counter where they serve mainly floats and sundaes and milkshakes. Plus, you can sit in the same stool that JFK once sat in before becoming president.

There is no shortage of vintage and thrift stores in the Portland area, but Main Street collectors was a particularly nice one. There’s a small soda fountain in the back that serve sandwiches and shakes. We didn’t have anything to eat, but will be back to grab some food and check out all of the awesome knick knacks up for sale

RACIST OWNER N EMPLOYEES. Smells nasty n smokey all the entire way threw this building. cool items, a few but not cool enough 2 nbe treated badly unfairly disrespectfully rudly .
