As a small mom and pop restaurant owner I would like to say that we entered the restaurant very busy at the time our waiter had a 8 top numerous booths and a few tables, he was by himself and there was one man in the kitchen. As I know how this is wholeheartedly because I have the same problem at my place. This day and age help is hard to come by and the food was great my mom had the meat loaf I had a burger my kids enjoyed their food are server he was busy running his butt off and he did a hell of a job. To all of you Monday side arm quarterbacks who want to be so critical and so ugly with a review please take in the consideration that this is how people make a living and they do their best and it’s not easy. Obviously numerous reviews have been horrible and 9 times out of 10 you can tell these people have never worked in the industry. I can’t say we will go back next time we’re in Sandusky.

First of all, I would like to start off by thanking this restaurant owner for going above and beyond and accepting our reservation for 9 people on Mother’s Day. I realize that is a very busy day and NO ONE takes reservations! I stumbled across this restaurant on Google. Even though I come to Norwalk frequently, I didn’t even know this place existed. Our waitress was very friendly, accomodating, fast and efficient. Our breakfast was really good minus the pancakes. They were really overdone on the bottom. I apologized for complaining but my little guy couldn’t chew them. I didn’t know that a couple of other people in our party who ordered pancakes had the same issue but didn’t say anything. I’m only adding it to my review so that the manager can bring it to the cook’s attention. It wasn’t a huge deal….our waitress had a new batch out in no time. We would definitely come back. Thank you so much to everyone working that day and for accommodating our large party. ❤️❤️❤️

Four of us Went in for breakfast today. The service was horrific and the male server we had looked very uncleanly. The food was half cold and tasted bland. After getting our food we were never checked on and had to wait until we got our check to finally receive refills. We will never be back. Sad end to a great trip we took.

We ordered blueberries pancake which was soggy the loaded omelette smelt like the vegetables smelled rotten. I got the biscuits and gravy which wasn’t bad but sausage was pink and we ordered toast and it did not have no butter .This was my second time there. The first time was good. But this trip was nasty we won’t be coming back.

I’m not one to speak negatively on a family owned business, and judging by the reviews this place is loved by many. This is purely my own and my husband’s experience. We drove twenty minutes from our hotel in Sandusky to get breakfast here and were very disappointed in the quality of the food. I came in hungry and lost my appetite about half way through. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. The gravy was extremely bland and had a jello-like quality, reminiscent of canned gravy. My hashbrowns were terribly undercooked, completely seasonless and dry. The eggs were equally dry and unseasoned. I don’t think there was a milligram of salt or drop of oil or butter used between the two. Dreadful. The waitress wasn’t rude, but we didn’t feel overly welcome or attended to either. The restaurant itself had a bit of a mildew smell as soon as we walked in. I’m sorry to do a not so favorable review, but if it were my establishment I would like to know.
